So long story short I was told during my hunting adventures this weekend that I was not allowed to use the computer that was turned around facing the public at the Pro desk. She said it's a security issue.
So this morning I called corporate to let them know and ask what the policy was about computer usage. I was told that, since the security breach last September, they have cracked down on allowing the public to use the computers; and it is the manager's discretion whether or not they want to allow a customer to use the computer (well that makes perfect sense to me). When I inquired whether they were going to be eliminating the "Public" domain on the computers, since they don't want the public using it anymore, he replied "I'm not sure; IT handles the computers". We kept up the verbal jiu jitsu for a couple minutes, circling back to all the inconsistencies in his statements; no use.
Going forward, I will make sure to ask if I can utilize the computer, where it is not explicitly called out that it is for public use. FWIW, I have found that by mentioning that you're a contractor looking up stock for a job coming up and making an online order, they usually have no problem letting you use them.
Happy hunting!
This is true I have a girl that works full time with us but works PT at HD, she says they can give you a max of 50 dollars off, anything over needs a manager override

Pretty nice tractor trailer rig you got there.
You guys reselling these things?
I just returned the whirlpool tub I had gotten for 180.00 because I was tired of moving the darn thing around....no bites from Craigslist.
I can only imagine storing boxes and boxes of nails for a while.
Lol yea but hard to go wrong with 40 to 50 times profit
True! At least you can shove them in a corner somewhere I guess.
The bathtub was in my garage and I was trying to detail our cars. What a PITA.
You ****
wow....Classic shot.... would be better with the shot of guy unloading the pallet....cost of shipping is more then what items totaled up..
My time is not worth the hassle of buying up nails and dealing with reselling them. I would prefer working in my garage than dealing with Craigslist or other deals.

Well considering this one lot will pay for a brand new furnace for my house....I guess I will "deal" with it.... LOL!!!!!

These boxes are heavy. Sweating my balls off now
Can't say I didn't get my exercise today...
Trying to take a poop now and I keep sliding off the seat from the sweat

Good info! I was hoping they would fit in a flat rate box! I have 85 boxes coming and about 15 are spoken for at 20 bucks a box just from word of mouth. I'm excited because our furnace started acting up this winter so I plan to replace it with the profits!
You should have had them look in the DNI. I'm sure the case with the charger and battery are still up there.
Ordering freight when you don't have a loading dock can be a real PITA. I feel your pain -- my back still hasn't recovered from the last time that the Conway truck rolled up to my house carrying 100 buckets of Reef Crystals sea salt, 50 lb each. Of course, the two guys who promised to help me unload arrived after the truck had already left.
I'm pissed. There's only 89 boxes there. Supposed to be 90. lol
