All husky truck toolboxes are .06 status in Hackettstown, NJ. Can't upload picture right now but 25" list.

Also, my loacl store was giving out free eco light bulbs today. They have been on clearance awhile and think they finally turned penny. I didn't get one as my whole house is LED but it was nice to see them give it away rather than crush em. They said it was for fire safety awareness. *shrug*.

Are you talking about these? I saw these a few weeks ago, no longer in the computer in my area. uploadfromtaptalk1444532415808.jpg

Glad you were able to find the light bulbs. Let me know if you find anymore of the black diamond plate lights. I have 7 units, but would like to find some more as I would have considered them first for my garage vice the chrome 2 bulb units.......
None of the stores I visited today had them. When you get a chance, could you post the picture of the chrome unit packaging? all 3 sides would help a lot. Thanks.

Scored 11 of the Echo CS-330T chainsaws for $65.03 from my 3 local stores. I left one with a messed up box (prior return) on a high shelf. Maybe it will still be there when these penny out. Or if anyone in Citrus Heights, CA wants one I can tell you exactly where to find it.

Will do but I will warn you, both versions of these shop lights went to penny status some months ago. I bought 7 of the three light black diamond shop lights about 2 months ago when they were reduced to a penny, and the chrome units (2 bulb version diamond plate shop light) went to penny status back in March/April of 2015. Given the recent inventories/cleanups that have been ongoing at HD stores, not sure if you will find anymore. I know for a fact that I have checked 20+ stores in the DC/VA/MD area and could find no more of either light. HD still sells both versions on their website, but has since discontinued selling the lights at the store (in fact they originally posted the lights as being sold online only - but I found quite a few in stores in my areas. Unfortunately it appears that I was not the only one trying to find them. Most went well before the final reduction to a penny....).

HD Website info for both lights:

Probably keep a few to give out as gifts, but see about selling the rest. They're fetching about $200 a piece on eBay a CL.

Can you confirm the SKU please? I have been searching 763 584

Someone has already posted a picture of the chainsaw sku a few pages back, and I posted a picture just last night of the truck box sku that you were asking about.

I know it can be hard to keep up with this thread, with all of the posts! But it's a good problem to have I suppose.

Expect that eBay price to go down a lot now that everyone is buying and selling them.

This. Would be a pain to ship as well. CL is your best bet. I wish I could pick up a few blowers to flip...

Ive never had much luck flipping with Ebay. Aside from the fees, its an issue of volume and going against established businesses vs. me selling one or two of something.

I had the Dyson vacuums purchased for 100.00 each, great buy, but to flip them on Ebay would have been a waste....shipping cost was so high and there were plenty of sellers offering free shipping at a BIN price that was too low even for me.

I stick to CL to resell stuff and most of the time thats not overly successful either. I would imagine, right now, blowers and chainsaws would be a hot CL item though. I might see if I can find them myself.

I was able to sell a blower and saw for $300. No way I could have come close to that profit on eBay after fees, shipping etc.

What's so hard about shipping this?

I think they were referring to cost.

Its easy to slap a label on it and drop off at FedEx, UPS, etc....but the price for that label is pretty high.

Using the Dyson vacs I had as an example, it was going to be at least 20 to ship it (Im on the east coast, I estimated a price down to Florida). 50.00 if it had to go to the west coast.

When high volume sellers were doing a BIN price of less than what I needed/wanted, INCLUDING free shipping, there wasnt much way Id be guaranteed a decent profit.

I ship 76# steel bumpers to the left coast for $50 which include a $9 oversize charge. You must be doing something wrong. I shipped high wheel weed wackers across the country and still made a profit. I could probably send a chainsaw for less than $18

Shipped a 40lb 1.25 opener last week from Maine to California via fed ex ground for $80... Shipping is killer. 2 faucet trim kits to Texas was like $30 UPS ground.

Is it the Antelope Rd store? I may go check it out. Where up high is it and is it actually going to ring up for $65.03? Also, did you check the saw itself or just pass on it because of the box condition? Thanks!

How? Using a business account? There's no way in hell you walked into Staples (or any UPS or Fedex shipping center) and shipped a 76 pound bumper across the country for under $150. What are you using to get those rates?

Last time I tried this, whatever Ebay was using to determine the package size and weight was incorrect.

I didnt want to risk getting hit with a MUCH higher price if the carrier realized it was so far off (although Im not sure how the carrier handles packages that are bigger than what you printed a label for)

I setup my own FedEx consumer account and get better rates than in the store, but Im sure there are better rates still out there.

Shipping prices for packages are now weighted more based on shape than weight. Its very possible a larger item can cost less than a smaller item because it just happens to fit better in the truck.

I also think this is why Amazon ships so many things in boxes that seem way too big.....easier for them to efficiently fill a truck with the same-ish size boxes regardless of how small the item inside is.

At one time i had business rates and a sales rep would call me once in awhile. My shipping has dropped so I just pay slightly discounted rates now.

And they go by dimensional weight now so a big hollow box is going to have extra charges to it. The reason Amazon gets cheap rates is volume and negotiated rates.

If you go to one of those pak it stores you get raped because you are paying full price + what they charge you to package it. I've been in logistics for over 35 years so I think I know how to do it.

Ive never gone to a packaging store to do the shipping for me. Its always been my packaging and printing a label directly off the carriers website. Then I just drop it off at the nearest carrier facility.

I know I would pay even more if I used Kinkos, etc....but Ive always been estimating price on the FedEx website using the "use your fedex account" option.

I know you didnt want us to know where you shipped that bumper to, but I would be interested to do the estimate with my account to see how the numbers come out.

EDIT: just for poops and giggles, I ran an estimate on the vacuum I was referring to.
