Between you and drtj I'm going to take the 325LI I got for a penny on Tuesday and start driving nails into my own head

Why is that? I know the sku, I can't really read them because of how narrow the isle is, and it's in a none ladder friendly store. Thought I would throw these pictures up since there was some packaging shape comments in the last few posts. These posted pictures somehow came out incredibly ****** on tap talk but look very clear on my iPhone. The problem is the last digit or two. I guess you were directing at at more of a "go up there and get it" approach.

Persistence paid off once at this store since I was able to score a Husky quiet flow compressor at last clearance from here.

Even with how crappy the pics are I can make out the "XP" on the two nailers in the first pic and barely make out the "XP" in the second pic. Even in the second pic the case is obviously squared off. Just waiting for this thread to be filled with pics from every Home Depots nailer section asking if "these are penny nailers"

Maybe you're better at knowing what to look for than I am. I concede to the second picture somewhat resembling the Xp logo but I no resemblance or indication on the first picture with the 2 nailers. Either way I'm not expecting to pay a penny and I would be happy to pay last clearance on the nailer.

I'm done with asking about this topic as I am not trying to pollute the thread, and it seems like the veterans are not keen on the rookies asking for advice. Shot in the dark and obviously a fail. If the PCA showed anything in stock I would have been less inclined to have asked. If I get them pulled down and jakedi99 is correct I'll post results. Carry on.

Look man the cases for the penny nailers are round like the trim nailers. All three cases in your pics are as square as sponge bob square pants. And the skus for the XP are ten digits while the sku for the penny nailer is six. I'll give djrt the benefit of the doubt that he found a rounded case with a ten digit sku, which could be a trim nailer, if he's lucky then he found a penny nailer with a wrong sku. You have three square cases, which the XP model comes in with 10 digit skus. That's all I'm saying.

Anyone help out. Been on this forum for long time and never had this issue. Since my last post when I put in pic of 305 set tool I get an email from Tapatalk saying someone has quoted me at every post. Everytime someone quotes anyone e in this thread I get an email and I never used to. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

Why..yu should have left it for next price drop..
Yu ain't going to make much at Flipping with that cost.. Maybe some lunch money.. And tons of time, space, hassling with cheap buyer flakes.. And pm to next price is risky at that much, and ymmv on managers. And not to mention bring on management and LP radar.

Took my $45 EGO trimmer receipt up to the store and did a return re-buy to get a free EGO 2.0ah battery with the current promotion. It took a few minutes for them to figure it out but they took care of me!

It worked! Woohoo! YMMV.

Yes, manager involved. They couldn't bring up the tremor so they rang up the battery and gave me an $83 discount to make it the same price as the trigger was.

Most managers probably will let you do this. I got lucky.

I WANT ONE! They're full price by me.

The only stores that I have been able to find these on clearance have been in smaller cities on the outskirts of major metropolitan areas. I'm in Texas and don't know if this pattern holds throughout the country, but these stores are worth a look if you haven't already.

I got denied yesterday and it wasn't even a penny item. I found a Milwaukee 2497-22 kit on a cart in the tool area. There were a bunch of random things on it and it looked like a returns cart. It was marked used with a 25% off sticker. I thought it might qualify for the free battery so I went to check out with it and the battery doesn't come off but the tool rings up at $37!

The cashier got nervous and confused and said I don't think that's supposed to be so cheap, I have to check with the hardware manager. Finally she comes back with him and he says he can't sell it. He asks if I got it off the cart and I say yes and tells me items in those carts aren't for sale. Then he tells me the item is broken. I asked what's wrong with it and says he doesn't know just that it's broken. He then scans every other item I have like I'm trying to pull a fast one. He took the drill and walked away. I said you shouldn't leave items on the floor if they're not for sale and he continued with, those are our carts and those items are not for sale. How is anyone supposed to know that?

I had to get to work so I didn't have time to get the store manager involved. I'm sure he just planned on buying it for himself. It really killed the excitement I had for a $37 kit.

I was at my local store picking up a bunch of the dewalt, crescent, and channellock tools that finally dropped. This store is normally 1 of the first to drop but for some reason it was 1 of the last on these items.

I also got a price adjustment on the 2 milwaukee gloves that i bought since i cant find them anymore. Also for some reason they dropped the price of the XL after the L but they are now $7.54 as well. The gloves are well worth the $14.88 i originally paid but even better at half that.

The CSR that did that R&R said that the next time i go in there she is going to give me an orange apron since i am in there almost every day. I said i already help out other customers and I told i was going to hold her to it.

That sure would make getting penny items down a lot easier haha.
