I see what someone earlier said about being able to submit any date receipts, not just the yellow highlighted dates. Nowhere on the form (other than just having a yellow highlighted week) does it mention specific dates, nor does it refer to the highlighted week on the calendar.

I'm gonna try sending in my big receipts from May.. worth a try..

I had a run in at SCO today. The attendant was absent minded like usual. She was not paying attention to the screen whatsoever, just flirting with some dude.. But as i was scanning my penny items, she gets a phone call and starts walking over to me. Then grabs my stuff. Manager pops out of nowhere and tells me to stop "hacking" their SCO machines.

This leads me to believe that some HD employee was watching me on closed circuit as I was walking around the store, and then alerted the SCO attendant when i was scanning.

:mad::mad::mad:

What was your response to his hacking accusation?

Called the C/S line on the rebate form. Took over half an hour to get someone to answer.

She gave me the rebate code for the 11% match ending on 4/23 but she did not give me a clear answer at all about the 60 days. That would mean that purchases made up to 6/22 would be eligible?? Her words were "If you are within the 60 days we can PROCESS your request". Does that mean you process and deny, process and accept; what does that mean? She had no clear answer and just left me with an awkward pause.

I am going to mail mine in and hope for the best.

rule 1: dont call.
rule 2: dont call.

its ymmv whether or not they even approve and pay receipts within the printed dates... so of course its ymmv on anything else. ask questions here or in PM < and take the lumps >. dont call. the only reason to call is if they didnt approve your receipts and you need to complain about them not paying/approving. everything else is ymmv..

the chat help on the rebate site was useless. Apparently the last envelope I sent in for the 4/17-4/23 period got lost. the people at the chat help DO NOT have access to your paper file, they only see what's on the computer screen.

im pretty sure they are losing them on purpose. i got busy and stopped messing with it. but yes, this is the only reason to call: 'wheres my money'

SPN - def going to try it. I don't have a code to submit with any form other than the 4/23 and the new rebate where I will be making some purchases this week for (need to rekey some smartlock dead bolts so all entry doors match).

I guess just put them all together and hope for the best?? How have you been successful previously? We don't have a menards in NJ and I know you don't have one in NH either but it seems to be working for most people.

Reason for the call was to see if they could give me the form from 4/23 since I no longer had it (she gave me the code) as well as to see if there was any validity to the 60 day purchase date comment made previously.

Takes about 8 phone calls and maybe 6 to 10 hours of my time to get them approved, but it works. They used to give me a $1 gift card for penny receipts, but the last 2 times they've been denying them, so i'm not gonna bother sending them in anymore.

I do have about $1500 worth of purchases for the month of May that i'm gonna submit.

have you guys been sending in e-receipts? that's what i'm gonna do.
I've been sending in the actual register receipts (since that's what the rebate form says to do), but I won't be making that mistake again. Edit: nvm, it says "copy of the original cash register receipt"

SPN- I too am looking at just sending in the e-receipts. I have a drawer full of Lowes/HD/HF receipts and its just easier that way. Hopefully they count. I know the form says "copy of original" but not sure how they could not count.

I'm pretty sure one of mine that i sent in was the e-receipt. Also i sent all mine in one envelope with one form filled out. Didn't even have to call and all were approved in about 3 weeks from the date i mailed them.

Anyone have the last rebate form and the dates? Looks like I dropped the ball on the last one (I thought there was one after the May 27-April 2 but not sure).

Good to know! In that case.... I definitely need to submit my receipts for the last rebate period of 4/17-4/23!

I picked up one as well. They were in the shelf just above display but were moved up a shelf sideways. Left the other one. I searched for the senco stapler but couldn't find it.

Anyone have a Kohler Linwood faucet in brushed nickle? SKU is 885612132697.

I bought 1 a couple months back and now realize my bath remodel will have a double vanity. Looks like they are back in stock online but $99....

How do you search other store?

the only realistic way is to go to the other store. The PCA won't give you accurate results when trying to check inventory at remote stores. One example would be the Lincoln welding carts. At my local store, the PCA said the nearest one was an hour and a half away. Found one at a store near my work and 06GMC found another at the other store near our work.

People have suggested that the remote store inventory count in the PCA is -1, but there's really no way of knowing if that means 1 or 0 at the stores, unless you go there and check for yourself.

Most important thing is, DO NOT call the store and ask if they have it. That's just putting dollar signs in the employee's eyes.

Would you guys believe I found 3 of the ShelterLogic Shed-in-a-Tents a couple days ago? $20 a pop. I couldn't believe they were still around, and they weren't even hidden. They were in the rafters, but in plain sight. On vacation at Virginia Beach, and HD has been treating me a whole lot better than the fish have.

I've found the stores where you will never find penny items are almost always correct on their inventory in the PCA and the right side column if you are at another close by store. The stores who have pennies on the shelves are a mess in more ways than one and their inventories are almost always wrong or at a minimum cannot be trusted.

One store who is a mess had 8 m12 sets in their pca, not one to be found. They also had 2 tough box sets, none to be found, etc. A different store had zero ss vacs in pca but had 3 on the top shelf for over a month as the price dropped. That same store had 4 bath fans at a penny on the shelf.

So I know what stores I can get pennies from and those I don't trust their inventory and those who never have pennies but I can reasonably trust their inventory for .02/.03 things.

How's Virginia Beach? Watch out for beach umbrellas!

Headline news:

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Police say a Virginia woman has died after being struck by a windblown beach umbrella in Virginia Beach.

Multiple news outlets report she died after being hit Wednesday evening.

Virginia Beach police spokesman Officer Patrick Kane says the umbrella was anchored in the sand when a strong gust of wind carried it, hitting the 56-year-old woman from Chester. Her identity has not been released.

Kane says emergency crews responded after receiving a 911 call about a woman in cardiac arrest.

When medics arrived, they found the woman with a life-threatening injury. The woman was taken to a hospital, where she died.

The incident is under investigation. Kane says there's no evidence of foul play.

Yeah. Just heard about that last night. Talk about a freak accident.

It's nice down here. Been a long time since I've been here. Good to be back with some old friends.

Find a way to change it to the week of May 23rd would be great!

As posted before, it looks as if your purchases don't have to fall within the highlighted dates exactly. They just have to be postmarked within 60 days of purchase and submitted with any form...
