I bought one of the Dewalt Table Saws (DW745) back in November for $299. All the HD's near me are still at $299. Ventured waaaay across town and found it at another HD for the $229 price. I promptly bought another one and then took it right back, along with the original receipt to the HD near me where I paid the $299 price and returned it.

Nice $70 bucks back in my pocket. :rocker:

Saw one at my local store, but didn't check the price. Should they be $229 everywhere? It's the box with the red "special buy" on it...

It's still $299 at all the stores near me. Maybe they haven't put a new sign out. Who knows.

Amazon still has them at $299 as well.

Just picked up a Toro zero turn ss4225 at 27% off, $1820. Yard is too hilly for the front engine jobs. Have flipped over one, and many times can't get it to stop. Hope this does the trick.

Not sure. It's the one that has been purchased by others here. I think the last 3 digits are 924.

same here. 1 in stock nowhere to be found.
which store were you in ?

I know a store which shows two of those and one Powermate or vice versa couldn't find them.

I was able to pick up Powermate which showed one in stock a month ago but showed 0 when I found it.

Schlage electronic deadbolts $50.03 in the price check app but scans $199

I would question that. Not to be insulting but are you sure it was the same number? I've been seeing a lot around here that have weird price drops, only one store had them for 50.03.

yes I'm 100% sure
I even compared the UPC on the box thinking maybe it looks the same but different

interestingly there are some deadbolts with the same SKU different UPC. They rang up the same price

Prices still as pictured.

The first two items are hose timers, one is two outlet and one is three IIRC.

Thanks to you guys, I'very discovered the world of penny products.

I went to my Home Depot and looked for some of the stuff described here.
I couldn't find a garage door opener, hose or weed killer. I did find some carpet cleaner jammed back on the clearance rack, five bottles, five cents. Yea!

But I had an experience I don't understand. I found a Gerber multitool, the kind they stock at Christmas. I used homedepot.Com to look up the number and it showed discontinued, not available at my store. A Dewalt diamond tile saw blade that was back/behind the other blades didn't come up at all.

When I got to the self checkout, they were >$20 each. Any insight about why things they don't have are $20?

Read the sticky. Homedepot.com is not where you want to be looking. In fact, no penny item will ever show in stock at any store through homedepot.com

I bought the DW745 table saw about a week and a half ago at $229 - haven't opened it yet.

Could someone refresh my memory on what exactly could be done if the price does go lower?

I know straight up returns are 90 days - anyone have experience with the price match policy in an instance such as this? How long do you have?

Just want to know if I'm wasting my time on holding off opening it or not..thanks!

All i did was bring my receipt in and say I would like a match to the new price and it was done. This was on the dewalt miter saw earlier last year.

That's good to hear - thanks.

If it can be done with just the receipt (why wouldn't/shouldn't it be?) that'd make things a lot easier. Just wanted to make sure, thanks again.

The in-store Home Depot "Price Check", I used it for the first time yesterday but seemed to miss if there was a "check other stores" option.

Can the in-store app at the Pro Desk check local store inventory as well? [penny/cheap items]

Can someone tell me about about the free bare tool offer that HD had going on during the holidays. Where the boxes specially marked?

Saw this today, too high for something I don't "need"

I have one of those, pretty cool... but unless you have a major project or are a pro is hard to justify. They run on a small gas cylinder and battery. Battery makes a spark, ignites the gas, explosion drives the nail. Pretty lightweight but sounds like gunshots.

The reason I ask is, I went to an HD yesterday in central Massachusetts. I found a 20 volt 5mh battery kit with charger and carry case marked down from $199 to $129. He is the kicker the box said "includes free bare tool". Now my question is will they still honor this? Maybe it is a mail in rebate type thing I don't know. Anyway I am still in MA so I thought I might go try to buy it.
