Should these be located by the tile saws?

Yep. They are stacked up on top of each other in little slots below the tile saws in the floor department. You'll have to pull out the stack and look through them to see if any of the CP models are mixed in.

Check the reviews on this tape - not very positive. At a penny I would consider buying a couple rolls for emergency use (car, truck, etc.) but not sure if I would put a lot of trust in same.....

HAHA...I grabbed a few of those yesterday as well. Looks like they may be a penny soon too.

Oops, as I said, I was not sure how good of a deal it was. Look like I will return my 3 rolls next time I am at HD. Thanks for the info. Pennies deal are scared around here so at $.83 I thought I had a good deal and bought 3 and was going to give 1 to my dad.

The main difference is the color. They older model is black, the new ones are gold. A good tip is to check the bottom of the stack but ALSO check behind the display, and the far left behind the display. I found a bunch there.

Be sure the black Ridgid blades are models that start with "CP". I've noticed there are a few that look very much alike but have the wrong model number. I rang those up and they were full price.

You looking for the ones that say CP70P, CP80P, etc.

Thanks, I'll give it another go.

Really? At 83 cents it's not worth returning. Just use them imo.

Also be sure to look behind the metal display case that has the slots in it as someone mentioned earlier. I've found some that fell back there that were so dusty you almost couldn't even tell they were there.

Not all of the black ones are penny though, so look for the CP models.
I found a black 7" CJ model at a few stores.. the black and the gold ones have the same model and same UPC, so it wasn't a penny.

No luck with the pennies. Ryobi 4stroke blower is at .06 status though so I am going to keep checking back. Lots of .03 stuff with tags 3 months old that still ring up .03. I spend a lot of time in home depots but I guess not enough haha

Interesting, I stand corrected. I haven't seen anything different around here so I'll have to keep an eye out. I guess the easiest way is really just check your numbers and check the price. Then you can be sure, as with anything on here.

Scored some doorknobs.

SCO changed personnel as I was ringing. New chick was like, "Is that right?" Yup. Paid and left. She only muttered under her breath, and watched me leave. Anyone have two or four of the bedroom and bathroom doorknobs you'd be willing to swap?

Yup. Once I'm done here, there's another local store showing stock on several other schlage handles. Taking forever for someone to get the SCO guy busy hah.

I can get through pretty quickly. They don't really watch the computer that well. I still have one card that doesn't have a chip, so swiping and getting receipt is fast compared to stupid chip cards which need to be in the machine for like 20 sec seems like.

I carry in change in my jacket pocket so I can easily drop it in once done. Got them out right as he spotted the end of my transaction. Didn't try to stop me since I had my receipt.

Whats the SKU on that bigger entry door handle?

Pretty much the exact one I want for our new entry door!

PM me if you want to sell one for a profit.

confused on how to use the self check out as a price scan? I don't see where you can cancel an item so to avoid making a scene I end up buying it then returning it later. There has to be a better way

Its there.

Go to SCO
Press the volume looking button to mute it
Press the price check function
Scan your item
You will have an on-screen prompt for "add to transaction" or "cancel"

If penny, add to transaction, pay and GTFOOD

If not penny, press cancel and return the item to the shelf

When you walk up to the SCO, the screen has options, one is price check, after checking you can add to cart and checkout if you want or just hit cancel.

Went to looking for the 13 inch Milwaukee box and they have a ton. The person at customer service indicated the price was still $32ish but on clearance. Am I doing something wrong?

Asking customer service the price. And they didn't tell you an exact price - "32ish"?

Just go to self check out and they have a button to price check.

They inidcated it was the listed price, 31.97, and indicated clearance. I have the bigger version and it is very beefy.

Thanks for the heads up as well, still learning my way around the clearance items.

The "If penny" part is too funny.

Anyway, I would suggest you go back and review the penny deal instruction listed somewhere on this forum. I fixed it for you...:lol_hitti
