Ok, probably buried somewhere on the forum.

I think MOD is Manager On Duty
I think SCO is Self Check Out

But what is MET stand for which are the folks who showed up at HD and go through inventory.

TIA

Checked my local HD for the paslode framing nailer and showed 3 in stock on hand. Couldn't find them and a associate stated the system must be wrong. What do you guys think? ImageUploadedByTapatalk1452719294.920105.jpg

That shows "no home" on that screen meaning they could not find them when they marked them down the first time. Its a 50/50 chance, they could have been stolen, high theft item right there. Still $299.06 or $300.06 in the stores I checked.

Inactive just means it won't be stocked again. It may or may never go on clearance pricing. Just because it is inactive or clearance at one store, doesn't mean it will be in the next store.

Thanks for the info. The box I was interested in is listed as inactive in every store anywhere near me so I guess now's the time if I want it.... :dunno:

"No home" doesn't mean they couldn't find them. It means it doesn't have a regular spot on the shelf. There are several "no home" sections throughout the stores. Any employee for that section can tell you where they are.

Hello, Does anyone know when your credit card gets charged on a HD.com Ship to Store order? Is it suppose to be when order is placed, when it ships to store, when you pick it up?

Thanks

the $150 promo discount only shows up when the paslode nailers are $236 and up..but no discount.... so I tried today at store with $100 price and the $150 promo discount doesn;t pop up.....so I guess its a dead end...

went to store...pc said 6 in count... nowhere to be found...they even checked receiving area and still came back.... our inventory is messed up.....oh well.... guessing some manager is holding it till its penny and then gone.... No wonder I can;t score much deal at this store.

but on a brighter note.... I did find a display 40v ryobi trimmer..13"...with a yellow tag that said...1cent.... I took it up...sco and head cashier couldn't say anything...garden guy comes up and saids...who's the idiot putting 1cent label on...don't ask me...go get manager approval....they take label back to manager and come back say....take it and cashier was laughing about it...
missing the charger.... First time I have ever ran into a lable penny item.....haha...

Better yet it means that wherever the box is, the words "No Home" are written on it. I've found them all over the entire store...even though there is a specific section where they should all be placed.:wtf:

Where does it say "no home" on the screen? I don't see it anywhere on the picture he attached

Thats a good deal on the GTS1031, would rather have that than the DW745 for 229. Wonder if Bosch is finally releasing that table saw with flesh detection therefore discontinuing other models.

Dewalt can't run dado blades.

I just bought one of these and another store has it for $240 locally. Can I get a price adjustment on this? I paid $299. Does it matter what store I do the adjustment at?

So while checking out through SCO buying two of the Farmington ceiling fans for $13.03 for my in-laws, one of the cashiers said she's going to go get the last one (the display.) She took off her apron and went to get the fan. Apparently all they have to do is take off their apron and they can go shopping.

Everywhere I've gone has no yellow tags for schlage stuff except maybe one or two handles in the actual clearance area.

I think around here they blew out that stuff a couple months ago

Don't miss an opportunity by only looking for yellow tags. Use the price check if you aren't currently.

Eh I'll box them. Those cardboard sleeves will rip off easily

If anyone happens to have a Bosch 18V li-ion nailer (framer, finish, brad) bare tool only, I'll trade lol.

So how much time do you guys typically spend at the HD store looking for items

When I've got a free day, I'll spend an hour in a store at minimum. Once I know the store that can get knocked down some. Running a window cleaning business means any rainy day can be spent running to Home Depot.

Does anyone know how HD decides on the discounting & timeline? For example; the brinkmann smokers are still very high priced but are not showing any stock for my store when on line. I am starting to think this is controlled by my store manager vs corporate because even stores in the region have different clearances items & timelines. (I cannot price check in the store because they removed the customer computer & there are no others I can get to.).
I didn't drag one up to self check the price but had an employee walking by check it & it matches the tag.

Depends if you like reselling or not I suppose. The reviews are good and for $100 it's a steal if you plan on keeping for yourself.

If it the price ends with .00, there is no set schedule.
