Managed to find one of the chamberlain for 42.02 hiding between the other ones. Almost got the wrong one, evp instead of the evg. The clearance one has the Internet gateway included.

Likely would have made it to penny status of it was mixed in with the others.

I know I will get blasted for even thinking this, but what would happen if I bought them at one store and returned them to the other? Would Odin strike me down immediately?

With a receipt they will give you what you paid.

Without a receipt, store credit. However, if you're talking returning clearance items for full price, that may be return fraud. Sell it on eBay or Craigslist

Scored a deal on a pneumatic Paslode today, No sticker, just hanging out with the others in over head.
There was one $100.03 cordless Paslode on display and I didn't see any signs of drilling but couldn't find the box and accessories to go with it...

Had several string trimmers and blowers I'll be keeping an eye on.

Also spotted two awnings that have been the same price for a year now... WTH?

I got those Mosquito Sentry things about 8 months ago. Came up "not found" and they wouldn't sell them to me. Went back the next week and another manager said "merry Christmas "

That EGO trimmer is down to 55.03 here, might be the same at your store (that tag date is pretty old)

Did you try looking it up in the store computer?

If they do their job correctly (a BIG if), items like that wouldnt make it back out to the shelves. MAYBE if they were at .06 or .03 level, but definitely shouldnt if they are at penny or arent normally stocked in the store you returned them to.

Ended up with a Milwaukee corded SDS rotary drill because someone returned one to a store that doesnt stock it. It got thrown into the corner of the tool corral when they couldnt find the shelf spot for it.

Picked it up for a penny when they moved it out into the open.

I double checked everything on the price checker. based on the notes I've been taking they SHOULD be dropping in price sometime in the next two weeks.

My usual routine is to get a visual on all the clearance area's, take pictures of anything that peaks my interest but still priced high, and load up anything thats priced right. Than I'll find a computer, search what I've taken pictures of, search for stuff I've seen posted on here, than if I have the time I'll go through the entire list of clearance for that store.

Got it.. They wouldn't let me leave and voided transaction, tried To charge last clearance price $50.
Called HD and told them, local HD store stole my grill and going to call police if HD won't resolve issue.
15mins later, out the door.. They didn't seem happy..

I took the trimmer over to the self check out today it came out to 135.06 they had two of them I'll try again another time

I got 7 Watts 1" double blow back valves for 7.00 each today, they were 28.03 last weekend wired thought they would penny out, but at 7 they are super cheap and they don't give me any hassle at 7. Maybe they are getting rid of penny clearance?

I also got 7 sharkbite pressure regulators for 3.20 each they were 13.03 last week 49.97 down to 47.00 down to 34.06 then 13.03 finally $3.20 no penny great price and no hassle sku# is 1001-009-663

No I don't have any use for it. Was gonna give it to my parents but they told me to just sell it. I don't know how hard it is to find the fluid for them

nope...no ladder to be found...took a chance with csr...even he chickened out...saying too heavy... they got a picker to bring it down....and I rolled it to sco on the cart....it was a perfect height...just slide the grill barcode forward and viola...done....except for a hawk eye csr... too bad my card slice was faster then her stop button......but they wouldn't let me out with the item...so therefore the drama began...but in end...I got it...but its never easy with big items...

As mentioned before, ALL stores vary. Not just by region, but even within the same city just miles apart. That's why you have to go to every store you can to find deals.

Has anyone checked on the Chamberlain 1/2 hp openers this week? The ones that are $40.02 or $42.02, can't remember.

It has to be "just the right size". It SHOULD work, but again showing up with your own barcodes (or even worse, IMHO, cutting them out of the box) is really on the edge as far as ethical/legal boundaries.

Hope it's 2 temp2o . In a similar case I had to get a 4ft pipe or pole to knock it down..in my case it was on slats, lots of opening underneath to pop off the box. No yellow ladder around. Good luck.. Should be easy. Only tricky part is the Security strap
