None around here, over the last 5 days I have hit almost every HD in my city (some 2 or 3 times), had my buddy hit one out by him, I do not think our HD's are participating in this clearance, the only thing on the clearance rack was low voltage lights that were not appealing at all.
If you're only searching the clearance rack, then you're doing it wrong.

I saw them at the 300 mark, then everyone was out getting them for 100. I still managed to grab a generous amount but it did catch a lot of people by surprise.

Sent from outer space using Taptalk.

I knew a new Paslode nailer was coming out but never expected the clearance deals that came with the new model. I think people didn't pay attention to the 300 dollar price as it would go on sale for that price at different times.

Just checked the paslode at my store, still full price. No yellow tag at all, scanned full price too. Had about 8 on hand.

I seriously hate you guys. I checked 7 stores in the last week and the only 325li was a used return that scanned at $249.

I had an issue with one yesterday too. They put a hand written tag on it with the sku for the new model when someone returned it. I had them open it up for me and had to tell them that someone pulled the old switch on them by keep the new one and putting an old impulse model in its place. Sad

Here's a couple things I found tonight that I haven't seen posted. I finally found one of the Schlage sets....and accidentally broke a shelf getting it down.

What's the story on these?:

Honeywell -1-1 Day Programmable Thermostat with Backlight
Model # RTH6450D
Store SKU # 835702

These are yellow-tagged at $15.03 and a date of 10/15/15 but when I check the system, they are still at the 75% off price. Shouldn't these be pennied out by now? :headscrat

I didn't look up the SKU but I can tell you to stay away from most of the T-stat's at HD. I do HVAC for a living. The Nest t-stat's are junk, and the only Honeywell's I install are the pro's I buy elsewhere. You're better off paying a little more for a t-stat from an AC supply store (if you can find one that will sell to you).
I've bought and sold several dozen t-stats I got on clearance at HD and ended up getting called back within a year on 9 out of every 10 that I installed because they went out...

I dunno man. My nest works pretty good, I don't really use the learn feature I just wanted the pretty screen.

That platform was 19.00 on bf. So was the Werner platforms at Lowes. I have both. The hd one is longer but the Werner is a lot stronger and better made.

I'm 175lbs and flex the HD one.

Already been posted but for the people in middle NJ inventory. I would love a set but don't have time this week to drive to any with inventory.

Think this is old but it popped back up for some reason.

i looked into those sticky tiles:
https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=home+depot+vinyl+flooring+cancer

apparently they let off chemicals forever... pretty sure no one in their right mind should buy those... though they are tempting and could look ok in some dark areas or basements. not worth it imo.

If anyone just wants to hunt Schlage handles and can't use an in-store PC, here's all the models that I've been able to find for a penny. Keep in mind that some stores still carry some of these models, so if it has an actual spot on the shelf for a full set of matching, it won't be clearance at that store. But pull out each carton and look at the top to see the model numbers, grab any that don't match and go check the price at self checkout.

Model Number - Model Name and Handle Type
Schlage F10 V SIE 716 WKF - Siena Wakefield hall and closet
Schlage F40 BRW 619 - Broadway bed and bath
Schlage F40 LAT 619 - Latitude bed and bath
Schlage F40 MNH 626 - Manhattan bed and bath
Schlage F51 BRW 619 - Broadway keyed entry
Schlage F51 MNH 626 - Manhattan keyed entry
Schlage F60 V CAM 619 ACC - Camelot Accent front door entry
Schlage F60 V CEN 619 MER - Century Merano front door entry
Schlage FA10 MER 619 - Merano hall and closet
Schlage FA40 V MER 619 - Merano bed and bath
Schlage FB52N V PLY 605 - Plymouth keyed lock set (knob and deadbolt)

Each of the numbers in the model number tell you what type they are. This will help you know what should be on what shelf. I don't have SKU's for all of these because most of the boxes tell you what model name they are. If that model name doesn't match current offerings, it is likely a penny. Grab a yellow ladder and pull that sucker down, open it up and price check. Hasn't failed me yet.

Here's a reference guide for you -
F10 or FA10 = hall and closet
F40 or FA40 = bed and bath
F51 = keyed entry
F60 = front door entry
716 = aged bronze color
619 = satin nickel
626 = satin chrome
605 = bright brass

If anyone happens to find ANYTHING of the Siena Wakefield line, please let me know! I'm looking for 5 bed and bath knobs, a front door entry, 2 keyed entry, and one keyed entry and deadbolt. Happy hunting!

I saw two at a store full of bird **** on them..... the reviews are bad on them more then half say they break right away.

Can attest to that.

Costco sold this model (or something very similar) and they worked well for a couple seasons then the plastic gears started slipping, locking up, etc. (yes, we drained and stored them over the winter so they wouldnt freeze and crack)

Complete waste of $$$ IMHO although I did notice they now "recommend" using 5/8" *vinyl* hose. Well, vinyl hoses aren't really that great. I've been using mine with 5/8" rubber hoses so that might be part of the issue, but even at 25.00 I think Id pass.

I have been taking pictures of the overheads and searching every SKU in the PC.

That's what I do if there isn't a visible model name. I'll usually just try to match the overhead to below and anything that doesn't match I'll check the PC. But that guide is for anyone who can't access a PC for some reason.

It looks like all of the stores around me did their Schlage reset a while ago. None of the older handles are here anymore. Would have been cool to get an entry set for a penny but I cant find any.

Also found a store that actually had a shelf sticker for the Paslode clearance. It was half torn off so I couldnt get the date on it but pretty sure it was for the 100.03 price. There were none left, of course.

Those darn Husky 12 piece sets keep getting me. They have a few in the clearance racks and they are still ringing up at $30.06 around here.

One local store shows 3 of ea the metric and SAE. Haven't looked for them, but they aren't in a clearance section so they must be in the overhead. Don't really need them unless I grab them for a penny.

9 out of 10? Then I'd blame the installer. I've had 4 NEST for 3 years now, not a hiccup, and I'm a DIY.

The 10" tool bags from BF are now down to $2.88 (from $5.88). I've been waiting for these to drop so I could ****** a bunch of them. They'll be good for odds and ends and even to have on-hand to give to someone that might need one.

Also a great deal on the Ridgid 4amp battery with charger (they've dropped this $20 over the past two weeks. If you pair it with the Dewalt DCK296M2 you end up paying like $38 after tax. Just return the dewalt set up. Killer deal if you have any of the Ridgid 18v line.

At 10$ I think they are a steal. But yeah a penny would be better.

Many store locally have the SAE at the 10 level and the metrics are still are 30. Wierd but :dunno:

Ya, I just don't "really" need it. Will try and find them next time I am there and see where they are hiding.
