Out of this entire thread I've only seen a handful of items on deal... Heck, a paslode is still sitting in the endcap clearance at the Home Depot right by me but CL is flooded with them and I really don't wanna deal with the hassle

Put it on CL in Nashville TN and ship them. I had 2, sold them both for $250 to different people and got probably 10 emails from other people wanting them.

Went to my store today to pick up one of the Gen Set cables. When I got there I found it marked 11.03 - found an emp[employee. he checked with the manager who said no we can not mark it down any more. I said pull it up on your inventory handheld and tell me what it says. he did and it showed 10.00. He then said NO I can not mark it down to that price, you can order online and pick up[ in the store for that, but I can not mark it down. Said fine paid the dollar more and now I am preparing an email to Corporate Customer service. Now I remember why I never shop there. The store here is in a world of hurt sales wise and have been since the opened, This last Black Friday I counted 12 cars in there lot. Menard's next door and a Fleet Farm across the street. Also a Tractor supply in the lot as HD and a Lowe's 3 blocks away. Plus most of the employees are clueless - I asked today where they moved the generators too and the sales clerk - said to generate what? I answered electricity and he was still clueless and had to call someone.

I did a phone order at a store 2 hours away for one of the Paslode Framing Nailers, it was the last one in stock. I picked it up today and went ahead and checked out the nailer section and there were 2 more in the overhead.

If anyone has a Paslode Finish Nailer and would like to trade for something let me know please. I would like to go completely cordless.

I bought some pressure reducing valves and some other valves. The sco lady scanned all of them and bagged while another pulled spiders off. Part of them were .01 and they never said a word.

Had a little incident at the SCO today. Found (3) of the Sharkbite Regulators and I wait for the SCO attendant to help someone and I swoop in to check out. I get to the third one and this old bag comes over and takes them away from me and says she cannot sell something for a penny. I tell her, they were on the shelf and rang up a penny and that's what I'll pay. She then says she can sell them to me at the last sale price. She fumbles around on a computer for a bit and tells me that are like $16.** a piece. Told her I don't think so and asked for a manager.

The floor MOD comes over and says, sorry we can't sell them to you for a penny. It's store policy. haha. I really didn't give a **** and would likely have just left them there but I figured I'd press a little bit more. I told him they are ringing up as penny and that's what I'll pay. If they are not supposed to be a penny, perhaps they should have taken them off the shelf. So, after a bunch of "No's", I tell him to go ahead and put them aside for me and requested his name and I'd have corporate give him a call. (No, I was not going to call corporate)

He then calls the store manager and after about 15 seconds of discussion, he hangs up and tells the SCO clerk to let me go with the items at a penny each. He then tells me that the store manager informed him that "as of last Monday, there is a new store policy that if something rings up a penny, you simply let the customer have it at the penny price.". LOL

That happened to me on my weekend 20 plus Home Depot run. Had every thing from this is free I can't charge you, to I can only give you one, to no we can't sell it, to its a recalled item. All in one weekend, I never told them I would call corporate just told them I don't under stand the last Home Depot gave me the item for free, also told them a certain store has the item with penny sticker on them. One cashier said he would get fired, I asked if I could talk to the manger and she came and said we can't sell you the item but I'll give them too you, I said thank you. Over all got 11 Penney items this weekend form door nobes to Watts valves. Great weekend hunting.

Definitely didn't read the thread. You'll be HARD pressed to find any of these items clearanced out at a penny or 75% off sitting on a clearance shelf.

The only things I've found on the clearance shelf was the Paslode framing nailers. Everything else has been mixed in with regular stock or in the overhead. Gotta do some serious looking to find the deals.

Yeah $95 is pretty darn good for a new M12 Fuel hammer drill. I will say though, that you probably won't make much on it if you try and flip it on Ebay (IMO). I did a quick search and they look like they are averaging about $120-$140 shipped. Great deal if you plan on using it though. I can't figure out why they aren't bringing in more though. I'm thinking either the market is flooded or most people are looking for impact drivers.

This. Noticed it myself....if I had known a year later Id be able to pay 95 or 130 for it, I wouldnt have bought mine last year at the 169 price!

It feels like people dont know any better....i.e. why is this M12 drill 89.00 but that one 189? Why is this 12V drill 189 but an 18V one is cheaper? 12V is weak, 18V rules! etc.

I have a feeling thats why HD is clearing out the more expensive 12V stuff. Most stores around me dont have many of the 12V Fuel tools anyway.

Interesting. What area or region was this?

My store still shows 3 in stock on the website. I wonder if the mere fact that it shows in inventory on the web means they're not one of the stores clearing it??

That was in RI. I bought it for personal use, not to flip. Already have the brushed drill so I thought it'd be a nice addition

Not really worth the hassle unless you're at Home Depot looking for something else. Saw these small cable cuffs were pennied out. Found 3 mixed in with the new cable cuff pros. Posted a picture with a quarter for scale. They're super small and the new small cable cuff pros retail for $0.98 so it's not a great find by any means

I think its because you could get the 2 tool kit for $199 that has driven prices down.

Here is a question for you as relates some door entry sets. I checked the CPA today and found they had (2) Schlage sets on hand. This store has a ton of inventory and the door entry sets are stacked about 7 units deep. I think I saw the (2) penny sets but they are simply too far back on the shelf for me to reach unless I have the little small stair deal to climb on.

How are you guys/gals accessing those units that sit deep into the shelf that you cannot reach unless you're 7ft tall with long *** arms? I'm sure the Hd employee is going to scan them if I ask for their help. :headscrat

I use the yellow stairs. Employees watch me wheel them from several aisles over sometimes and don't say a word. They're there for customers.

There was one store that had two penny sets in the overhead which was a bit taller than usual, and I mean I could barely reach the forward most set. To grab the second one, I went a grabbed a pry bar off the shelf and used the hooked end to grab the other one.

Pretty sure they would be all over my **** if they saw me dragging the little stair deal from aisle to aisle. :lol_hitti

Customers are allowed to use the little yellow stairs. This morning I used the taller orange stairs to grab a case of penny Schlage sets myself when nobody was around. Didn't want to risk having an employee scan it first.

Nope, its allowed.

Let me know if you are successful ;)

Thanks folks! I had no idea we could use the yellow stairs but I guess that does make sense. Not sure I'm brazen enough to wheel the the big boy orange one over unless it was already on the aisle I needed it on. As for the pry bar, I kinda did the same thing yesterday trying to get a Sharkbite valve that was just out of reach. Looked down and saw one of those long metal deals you use to turn sprinklers on/off with and used it to knock the valve off the shelf.

I'll head back over there again soon and give the yellow stair a try.

Cheaper and easier to install than a new toilet.
UPC on tag does not match item, but it rang up at that price.

Sorry if pics are sideways...not sure why Tapatalk is doing this. No luck posting from web. Will not close window after uploading pics

I was off work today, so I ventured to Home Depot to see if there were any Paslode CF325 left. The online website said the nailer could only be purchased online. So I took a look through the models and didn't see it at all. I remember reading to check up high as some things get stuffed up there. I searched this thread for the the SKU number and sure enough I saw one stuffed up about 14 ft up. I was unsure about asking someone to get it down for me worrying that they wouldn't give it to me. So i first tried a long piece of all-thread rod to get in the cardboard around the case to pull out but it was jammed in there real good. I eventually asked a younger looking teen if he could get it down for me, he said he would grab someone to get it for me. I waited 10 minutes and no one came over, so I went back to the ladder section and pulled out a yellow werner 6ft ladder. I walked back to the aisle looked around to make sure no one was watching and climbing up the ladder and retrieved the nailer!

I priced checked it at the self checkout registered, the first barcode I scanned wouldn't work. I then tried a different one and it rang up $100.03! I paid and walked out laughing to myself that I actually got one!
