Not the most exciting thing but these two packs of tool caddies were $3.83. And Made in USA is a nice bonus.

Did anyone check garage door openers today?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk.

I found a 1HP for a penny. Leaving another store I saw someone with a 3/4HP, can't believe they beat me to it.

In the computer the one that was $4x.** is still the same price. I think that's the only one I've seen on clearance around here (can't think of the model number).

Went to my regular HD while there thought I would check again for the Paslode cf325 and low and behold they had three but $100 yellow sticker was gone. Took one up to self check and price checked and it came up $399.:(

Was it the CF325Li, SKU 473484? The new model is the CF325XP.

I was off work today, so I ventured to Home Depot to see if there were any Paslode CF325 left. The online website said the nailer could only be purchased online. So I took a look through the models and didn't see it at all. I remember reading to check up high as some things get stuffed up there. I searched this thread for the the SKU number and sure enough I saw one stuffed up about 14 ft up. I was unsure about asking someone to get it down for me worrying that they wouldn't give it to me. So i first tried a long piece of all-thread rod to get in the cardboard around the case to pull out but it was jammed in there real good. I eventually asked a younger looking teen if he could get it down for me, he said he would grab someone to get it for me. I waited 10 minutes and no one came over, so I went back to the ladder section and pulled out a yellow werner 6ft ladder. I walked back to the aisle looked around to make sure no one was watching and climbing up the ladder and retrieved the nailer!

I priced checked it at the self checkout registered, the first barcode I scanned wouldn't work. I then tried a different one and it rang up $100.03! I paid and walked out laughing to myself that I actually got one!
I found the same last night and was going to scan it but when I dug it out there was a security tag on the handle. I was disappointed to say the least.

Why didn't you just ask the sco person to take it off? It's clearance, your not bending any rules here. If it rings up at 100.03, as nearly everywhere does, your fine.

I found one of the Paslode nailers yesterday but it was a recon. I tried and tried but they wouldn't use the original SKU since it was a recon. They stuck to the $299 price. Actually, I'm not sure they even understood what I was asking. They were either not so bright or they wanted to keep it for themselves.

Decent price for quality bits!

I checked the price several times over the last month or two, and it always came back at around $25. I kept putting them back but I bet I won't be able to find any now that they are $13. I'll keep an eye out for them though. Thanks

Those are the wrong ones the SKU for the ones you have a pic of is SKU#1001412163 which are 24.97 and all the stores have a bunch of them.

They look right. All the silver shank ones are on clearance. The new ones have red shanks. I got the 45pc silver shanks for $7.x3 yesterday.

Saw the HD220 GDO'S as well but have had zero luck finding any.

I found one of the ones that was 42.02, I left it for someone else. Now I wish I would have bought it. I can't find them anywhere. I'd love to covert mine from chain to belt because it's pretty loud.

I can't keep track of the part numbers lol

The new bits have a red band around the shank. Thats the easiest way to tell.

Yea those are the ones that wear out fast, that's why they say 10X life and the new ones are 30X. the old ones have some bad reviews that they wear out, but who knows if the new ones are any good. I have a new set I purchased in December, used them already but haven't abused them much.

Those should be dropping to a penny this week.

The Bosch laser levels dropped to .03 status so I picked up 3 different types. I was going to try and hold out until they dropped to a penny, but its too risky. I haven't seen them at all stores though...they are probably gone already.

Also, the Ryobi radio with battery is down to $18.98 and the 14pc Ridgid Cobalt drill bit set was $7.53 for me today (I got the only one I found).

They gave me a hassle doing return/rebuys the last 2 times. I don't know what is going on. Anyway, I got everything adjusted except for the 3ft shop light, which apparently already hit penny status. They weren't going to do it for me anyway, without actually bringing the light back (which is hanging in my garage). Just out of spite, I would have taken that darn thing down and brought it back. I didn't like the attitude they gave me today.

Can someone remind of the price adjustment time frame?

I just bought that radio last weekend.

They told me 7 days today, but I've been told 30 days. This is without actually bringing the product back. Some store are more flexible than others.

The way I understand it, and have done in the past, if you actually bring the product back you have 90 days. Tell them you want to return it (90 days) and then immediately purchase it again (at lower cost).

Another day....more drama at the SCO.

So I had some free time and stopped back by a HD I was at yesterday looking for (2) Schlage Entry Sets and some levers they showed being in stock. As others here suggested, I grabbed the yellow stairs from the next aisle over and used to search. I looked and looked but couldn't find them. I decided to abandon the search. (Thanks for the stair tip folks)

On the way home, I hit up one more HD. Hit the clearance end-cap and found (2) of the Bosch Laser Measures (GLM 40 X). They has stickers on them at $75.06 and an 8/10/15 date. Checked them on the PCA and they were $25.03. The wife and I can use them for work so I figured I'd grab them. Before leaving, decided to check the garage door opener section. Low and behold, there was one HD220 penny deal.

Now here is where the drama begins. I should have taken everyone's advice and always pay for the penny items with coins to make the transaction quick. Anyway, the young girl at the SCO was helping someone else so I scanned the Chamberlain and then the (2) Bosch units. Didn't have cash on me so stuck my chipped CC in there and JUST AS IT'S APPROVED, the little girl comes over and takes it. You can't have that she says and calls the floor manager. She comes over and says she'll refund me the penny but store policy is they do not sell items for a penny. I tell here that may be the case buy you just did and I had the receipt in my hand to prove it. She got very snotty and said I was not taking it. I said trust me, I'll be leaving with this item I already paid for and she needed to get the actual store manager to resolve the issue. She sends me over to customer service to page the store manager.

At the customer service desk, another young girl asks me what I need and I explain to her what happened and she too says we can't sell items for a penny. I ask her to please call the store manager. I bet you'll never guess what happens next. After there first call the the manager, I'm told I can pay the last sale price the GDO was listed for. I tell the girl that they are missing the point, I ALREADY PAID FOR THE ITEM AND HAVE MY RECEIPT!:pimpflash She calls the manager back and he says that since I already paid, I can go with it.

The customer service rep and I walk back over and get the GDO and the floor manager stops her and says I am not taking it. The CSR says, sorry but the store manager said it's his. The look on the floor managers face was priceless. She looked like she wanted to take a swing at me. I made sure to thank the CSR for excellent customer service with the floor manager there.

Lesson learned: Always have coins ready and just pay for the items and GTFO of there asap!
