Exactly. Why ***** about people buying penny items when they leave the clearance stuff in the overhead instead of putting it out in the clearance section. If they did their job, everything that is half decent would sell at the .03 level.

That and they have to actually update the price tags, which is very rare.

This is rampant in my area. There is next to no clearance stickers on anything except junk.

I had the same thing happen to me, had both barcodes on it. It was a reconditioned framing nailer and rang up for $100.03. I asked for a discount being reconditioned and they sold it to me for $70. But now that the framing nailer is a penny I would try SCO if you can scan that barcode.

Ya the barcode is under the 546 sku ($399), I'm almost sure of it. If the barcode didn't work and they had to type in a sku, then it'd probably show penny but it's hit or miss with the people who let me out the door with penny items at this HD

Port a torch finally dropped here in south jersey. they had them pretty damn hidden too but I found them buried on a top shelf. funny how they where in the welding isle until they started to drop, then got shuffled around the store the past three weeks. I found someone's hidey hole lol bunch of Ryobi clearance stuff hidden with them also. Don't have any ryobi so I left them behind.

noticed the jacks dropped also, some one got the 3 this store had a few days ago.

The 7x7 tent hasn't dropped that cheap here and no stock Didn't find anything that stuck out to me in the price app, was pretty much closing time so I didn't search too many things. Most of the stuff I saw is listed.

First post on here. I've been aware of penny deals for quite some time but think its awesome that there is a decent sized following. I stopped a store yesterday looking for some last minute Valentine's day presents. Found the exact items but only one or two of each. Checked a different store tonight and hit the mother lode haha, more so there was even more of some of the items up high out of reach but it was snowing and didnt want to tempt fate. The manager was called but he approved the transaction. Luckily I had a friend with me to help with the carts. He went out to the truck to grab something when the manager was there. Something did happen though that was quite concerning, when my friend was walking back in through the exit the after manager had approved the transaction he walked out the entrance around to the exit and took a picture of a random guys license plate. Going to guess he thought it was mine lol. Has anyone else had this experience? What possible information could he have hoped to have gotten from taking that picture? He probably just did it because the store was dead and he might have been a little angry.
Happy hunting guys!

Found a Fusion Shed today. Store showed one in stock, they actually had 2. $250.03. They even let me use a 20% off coupon, which knocked $50.00 bucks off. Buy now, think later! Now I have to figure out how to get the thing home!
When these finally drop to a penny, good luck getting it thru the SCO!!!!
Bye the way, thanks for the sku on the generator.

How big is the box and how much does it weigh does anyone know? I know 2 stores that have it for 250 and another store that has 2 at full price.

It weighs 550. Need at least 3 people in good shape to lift it. Box was about 6x8 I think? Some one may have an exact measurement.

Thanks! Holy **** 550lbs in one box! Prolly not an issue at the store, assume they fork it on whatever truck/trailer you have. But unloading at home and storing until spring.... Thinking I would drop it in the driveway, cover it in a tarp until spring...

They used the fork lift to put it on one of their flat beds for me. Buddy and I pushed it off and covered with a tarp. Was definitely a pita so make sure you have help.

What 20% off coupon did you use? I have one waiting for me to pick up as well and I'm still game planning on how to get it off a truck and how to store it without harming it.

^ ^ ^ Worm drive Skilsaw . . . . yes, that is powerful saw but still overpriced.

I'd be interested if price drops further.

Is this a good saw?

I'd like everyone to take note. This is a good contribution example. Picture with clear sku and easily identifiable box.

Good work sir. I'll keep my eye on this, I really like these just super expensive. If they ever go. .03 I'd buy one.

One of my local stores has it down to 100.00 (no .06 or .03 pricing yet). Not sure if they actually have the one in stock that they claim, though

As far as its usefulness....I have the Bosch version of it. Its heavy, but pretty much can cut through anything.

I figure Ill use my 6.5" cordless (Milwaukee FUEL) for most stuff and for whatever that doesnt work for Ill whip out the worm drive.

Want to point out that Skilsaw is a beast. It's a 10 1/4 inch blade. It will cut a 4x4 in one pass and have some depth left. It is not a regular circular saw. It also weighs 16.5 lbs

Not 10.25, 7.25

The Bosch version I have weighs about 14 lbs, I think the Skil is similar.

There's two versions. There's the "big" skil saw and this one. Same design, different blade sizes. The big one is obviously huge.

Nice, you are right! I hadnt clicked the pic from the latest post.

The 7.25" has been on clearance for a while, technically, but I never found one...I didnt realize they were clearing out the gigantic one too (actually didnt realize any stores actually carried it!)

200.00 is probably a good price but I dont need to be chopping telephone poles to length so its a little too much saw even for me :)

if that skill is on clearance I can use it for cutting long firewood down to size.
