So never a dull moment. Called the local store at 1:30 ish today that had the sheds to confirm pricing and in stock. They did and I asked if they could be put on hold. They said no, we don't hold clearance. So I asked could I pay over the phone and was told no. Ok as I've been told in the past. So I go after work. Low and behold this is what I find.

Hmm they don't hold items but it's NOT PAID for? Ask the CS counter if I can purchase them. 20 minutes later and a few employees I'm told no they are promised to another customer. I asked why they couldn't be promised to me when I called. They said they don't know. Some back and forth and I asked one last time, you're not going to sell me they sheds as I am a paying customer here now infront of you. Nope..... OK call to customer service. Explain my situation and they work out to let me buy one in a store 45 minutes away. So they are going to ship it here for me to pick up. No. Okay I guess I'll deal. Can I pay for it now and pick it up tomorrow. Yep just go online and pay for it. It's $997 online. Hmmm.... This goes on for another 45 minutes while they try to figure out how to take my money. I finally suggested let me buy one here and send the guy they were promised to down to the other store. They finally agree as the MOD finally gets off break and the other customer (a cop) just happens to show up. Then I was informed they are being nice to me because they are letting me buy one. By this time the truck I had lined up (my fathers) was already gone and I just said screw it let the guy have both and I'll go to other store tomorrow.
So, I learned there is competition at this store as they dropped in price today (I've been in everyday) and this other guy bought them. Also explains why this store is always so scarce on penny/discount items. And lastly that they are favoring this other person as they are reserving items for him. Maybe a friend of an employee?
