Those are tough to find up here too (CT).

They are popping up on CL though!

Dam those were the only ones I could find down here, that and the tan epoxy kits. Now they are all gone because of penny status. I got one for 20 bucks. have you checked ebay?

Yeah the prices are OK but not great. Cheaper than brand new but I figure worst case Ill just buy one in store at full price (oh the humanity).

Im not 100% sure if/when my epoxying project will happen so Id rather not buy stuff at full price or from Ebay (no returns) for no reason.

where region are the majestic sheds on clearance? I haven't been able to gather that from previous posts. I can't even find them in the system in NJ.

Seems to be only a few individual stores that have them on clearance. Saw it on clearance at one store and then other stores only a couple miles away that carry them are still at full price. A lot of stores don't even carry them so likely the ones clearancing them out are just no longer going to carry them.

It's like they don't even want to sell clearance stuff... They would rather have the expense of removing it from the shelf, packing it up, sending it back etc.

If you did your job I wouldn't have to search the overheads... Stuff would get sold.

exactly..

I laugh when I see overhead racks with tape on them labeled "clearance items", just waiting to penny out. (yes, I scope those out like a hawk)

EVERYTHING that isn't garbage would sell at the .03 75% off level if they actually did their job.

Husky and Stanley are same? Interesting...
Great deal btw, perfect backup when you need, especially for the long road trips

This might qualify as a hot deal, since people are fans of the sold-out husky 205 piece kits:

Stanley 201 piece mechanics tool set for $59.88. Comes with a hard case, free shipping to home, and still available online. I just ordered one to keep in my 79 Monte with a newly rebuilt engine/trans for peace of mind.

I think I'm the other guy. This store does a high volume in sales. They have a really crappy attitude. They act like they are doing you a favor. I've tangled with them a few times. This is my least favorite store. Did you ever notice they put all the clearance merchandise with the yellow tags way up in the rafters, so nobody can get to them.
I had an interesting experience at the Dan Ryan, Chicago store this morning. I went in and was looking for the 1.5 ton Husky Jack (they had 10 last week). I was browsing the overheads and found none. I then went to the Pro Desk Computer (they have at least 16 Pro computers there) and started checking prices on my list. A HD employee comes up and asks if I need any help.

I reply as I always do "no thanks, just checking a couple of prices."
She then asks - "why are you always looking for clearance items?". I reply " just looking for a deal on some things I need"

She then says she is going to call the manager. I just keep right on working while she calls the MOD. after she gets off the phone, she comes back to me and says that "according to corporate, you are only allowed to use the dot com site on the computer".

I politely let her know that the price check app is for customer use according to corporate. In the meantime, the price check app has a "server error" and quits working all together... hmmm..

She then tells me that "you and another guy are always in here looking for clearance items. I told him the same thing. You are always looking in the overhead. I have been to 10 stores and I have seen you in them as well. If you need to walk the overhead, then you should ask us to walk them with you." I guess In my area, I have been flagged as a persistent overhead "looker upper". I have never been on the ladder to get in the overhead, just always look up.

I just politely said OK and left. I have only found a few penny items and am not even as crazy as some of you on here. Maybe they are scared that I will sue if I hurt my neck from looking up so much... haha...

Haha that's how I got a bunch of command hooks one day. There was a box that said "command clearance" in the overhead. Guy took it down for me, I just took the whole thing to SCO and price checked it. Ended up taking 90% of what was in it for a penny. Some of it was still full price.

Not sure if they're the same-same, but the Stanley set is rated 4.6 out of 5 and seems like a comparable deal to the Husky. I was surprised to find the kit and not see it mentioned here--made me think there's something wrong with it ha.

Either way, it's worth the $60 for a back-up.

I remember seeing the Husky 200-pc set being made in Taiwan whereas Stanley sets at Walmart and Amazon being labelled as made in China. Not sure what the whole deal is between COO. I think its just the quality of precision as well as steel that counts.

Philips 60w LED bulbs - two pack. Marked at $3.50, rang up at $3.00. Located in freestanding cardboard display in bulb aisle, Northern Colorado. I think this is the cheapest I've seen regular LED bulbs yet.

Hd by me has a paslode 902400 on the shelf. Is this the one for a penny?

I believe 902400 is the finish nailer, which is still full price at every store around here, although some people out west said they were clearancing out as well.

902600 should be the CF325Li model which is penny now, sku number the guy above me just posted.

Employees want it for themselves...that's likely why they 'forget' to change the yellow stickers.

What's the story with the "No Home" written on boxes? I've also seen a few that say something like "Save for End Cap Q3 2016".

Pretty sure no home just means that the item has no physical location on the sales floor. Could be that they got clearanced out and that was left over could be full price. No way to really know unless you check the SKU. Sometimes it's also seasonal stuff that gets saved for the next time it goes out on the sales floor as most stores are doing their spring resets now.

well they are like orphans who need you to adopt them.

The truth is that they don't have a location on the shelf to display it so they stick them all together, should be on clearance rack and mark them down. But they don't some times they are penny items sometimes they come up full price.

Thanks. I'll be more than happy to use the little yellow staircase to adopt several new orphans. Are they gonna tell me the stuff with "No Home" on them is off limits if I go through the SCO with them or should I just take the stuff out of the boxes?

New Items are often placed in the No Home sections as well as special buy items that they carry for the holiday and promo events.

Interestingly enough I have noticed penny items in the system for new items that they have on order but dont have any on hand yet, and once they scan them in they are set to the actual sale price.

These hedge trimmers hit .03 status today. Picked one up for $25.03.

Damn! Missed one by a few days. Saw the only one ever at a store about 65 miles away last Friday at $75.06.

Where are you located?

Louisiana. All my store has left is the display. I ended up picking up both boxed sets they had. I've been watching those and the EGO Trimmer but that thing seems like it is never going to drop to .03 status.

This was from a little over week ago but forgot to I post it. Most trafficmaster premium tiles(red color on top of packaging) and Armstrong older looking boxes should be at .03 or penny depending on location. All 11 boxes were in a cart by the flooring desk with an old crumbled cl3arence sticker on top so I figured I would save an employees back and just rolled them to the sco.

Nearby store has had two Drill Doctors in stock with a clearance tag on the shelf priced at $50. Kept waiting for them to drop. Went by yesterday and the clearance tag was gone and they were priced back to $99. WTH?

All of the husky cabinets and bench where on a second round of mark downs yesterday at my local store. I got a base cabinet for $39 bucks. The wall cabinets with the open shelves were down to $44. The tall cabinets were down to $118 I believe. All the prices were $X.00, and not the normal .06 or .03.

Sorry I don't have the SKUs with me at the moment.

When you get a chance would you post the SKU for the cabinets? I just picked up two benches today for my new garage and could use the cabinets that go underneath the workbench
