As to 1099. It's not a "eBay" threahold. It's an IRS one. Anyone who accepts 20k in charges and 200 transactions I. A calendar year via credit card or third party processor. Will receive a 1099-k. Previously such payments in excess of 600.00. Would be reportable on a 1099-misc. Now if you stay under that threshold. PayPal is not required to issue you a 1099, However you are still technically required to report all those sales as income. It's a big hole to his in as the IRS. Will not have and reporting on you if your under the threshold. However, If you get a random audit, The transactions are easily gotten from PayPal by the irs.

I'm not worried about taxes. I hand everything to the accountant and he'll take care of it. On 20k, your not really paying that much in income tax. If you know what your doing and keep good books, you can easily write off most of your expenses etc. hell, if I put my mileage on the books i would be non-profit nearly immediately.

Are those any good?

Saw several of them down here and usually can't catch any deals - odd.
I would wait for the price drop... Seems like I have seen lots of these in stores.. Price used to be 199.00 and still plenty left at 99.00.
Oversupply, weak sales, equal clearance drop soon... 99.00 seems like the beginning stages of clearance..????

Agreed.

I have a bostitch - like the idea of having a quieter one with a baby in the house. Will watch and maybe check it out - give what I don't want to my brother lol.

My local store showed 15 in stock. Girl walked with me. Looking for the sku on boxes. No dice. She said store was starting full inventory this week so they might find them
Found my Christmas box with 9 :)

.08 that milwaukee box has to be a unicorn. Unfortunately I did have to call because they detained my cart after I already paid. Need to carry hanscuffs lol.

Just select print a label on an item you already shipped. You can actually purchase shipping this way too and just change the address and print the new label. It assigns it a new number to the new address.

Hit 4 stores today, not much too be had. First store nothing second store i lucked out and finally found 1 of the 205pc husky mechanic sets for $25.02 mixed in with all the 185pc. It was open so i had to double check everyting was there. I also stumbled upon 2 schlage merano handles a penny each. The next store showed 1 of the 205pc sets on hand but i couldnt find it on the floor so i asked a guy if he would pull a ladder over and check top stock, after he looked up the sku this a-hole wouldnt go check to see if it was mixed in with some others up top. He insisted that it wasnt there and that they didnt have it. Pretty sure after i left he grabbed it for himself. On to the last store just when i thought there was nothing good i spotted 1 of the dewalt tough cases kinda out of place with all the other tool storage so i scanned it with my phone using the hd app to see if the store carried it and they didnt so i walked over to sco and sure enough it was a penny so im guessing someone returned it from a different store and they just put it out on the floor.

i think i have some bad news on those husky silent air compressors:
saw two of them in a lockup area with 'hold for met team' written on them at a store that is usually ahead of the curve... they were still priced at $99 on the price checker.
ps. they were not open box or returns either

scored penny nutone and penny generator cable.

i vaguely remember reading about an echo backpack sprayer.. can anyone provide any more info on those before i search? couldnt find any outliers in the store.

i also have to search for the skus on those acurite weather things.. found a few old dusties but they still rang up full price.

one last semi interesting deal, theres a rayovac 20 lumen led flashlight.. its the 'unbreakable' variety for $3 regularly $6. it was worth $3.. has a thing to hang on a keychain or whatever

I think I found a store that forgot to open on Black Friday... (no penny items but last clearance)
10 205 piece wrench sets
13 20 piece ratcheting wrench sets
5 28 piece combo wrench sets
16 24" tool boxes
4 35" job boxes

all from one store! I have been working this store since Thursday and there are other items left. Had some stuff sold before I even got home.

The picture of the 10 penny Jacks was from College Park MD store last weekend. Didn't want the fight so they gave me 3 and I left the rest. I need to hit that store again.

Had a good day today. Grabbed 9 of the ryobi 18v hedge trimmers for a grand total of $0.07. Also found 4 of the shed-in-a-box for $20 each. With just my receipt in the HD Pro app, the CSR let me do a return/rebuy on the 2 sheds I got a few weeks ago, and the savings covered 1 1/2 of the new ones.

Man...you must have the greatest HD store around...to get 9 ryobi big boxes through the SCO or cashier without a fighting management...

did they just let you do your penny thing while they watched...unheard of in west coast without a drama event by my experiences...

2 different stores. First store, grabbed the 2 within reach and checked out without issue. An associate got the other 2 down for me. Got stopped at checkout that time. The manager came over, truthfully explained why they were rang up a penny and were no longer for sale, blacked out the barcodes, and sent me on my way with 2 free trimmers.

At the second store, and associate got 4 down, and I reached the 5th. Went through SCO with all 5. Attendant scanned them and freed the screen. I paid, and went about my day. Both stores had security guards that checked the receipts at the door too.

Forgot about the little wire lady bug bird feeder. Went through regular line, since I had 4 sheds. I had to show the young lady a pic of the sku from the shelf, cause somebody had ripped the tag off the feeder. When she punched it in, she just smiled and said "Ooh, it's on clearance for a penny. Cool."

It was a good day, but don't be fooled. 4 penny transactions without attitude and bs is very rare indeed.

Lol I'm at 8,900 in sales for the last 60 days. Have to make sure I stay under the 20,000 this year. 101 items sold but under 58 total trasancitons since some were one sale with multiple items sold. :lol_hitti

Best deal I have seen in the thread so far!!!!!!!!

Just wait to see how straightish they are once they dry :)

A guy I work with is remodelling his basement, I told him "metal studs only!" For many reasons (transportability, easy to find ones that are straight, etc)

He didnt listen, then started sending me pics of the studs he got from Lowes.

Day 1: they looked great.

Day 7: he had some that actually looked like the letter U.

I don't understand staying under 20k. I don't think it offers you any protection. If you sell over 200 items you get reported too I believe.

If the tax man comes you better make sure you have your *** covered 20k or no 20k, technically your still liable for those taxes and if you don't account for the earrings or better yet losses then your going to be up the creek. Anyone over 10k should be keeping a good record of gains, losses and invested dollars.
