Have a lot of the hoovers around me on clearance. I was waiting to see if they hit a lower price then the $40.00.

Yeah, I debated for awhile in the store..Figured the $40 price is 75% off so thought that might be it. Unless they go down to penny status..

Saw 2 of the Husky compressors at the Homedepot today by my work for $99.

They also had 3 epoxy kits (1 tan 2 gray) for .01 but couldnt reach them up top and it was super busy. I'll try again later in the week.

I hear you, I was tempted to pick them up also. I will debate it for another couple days before making a decision. Trying to see what kind of market is out there for them. I would like to keep one for the house also. If you keep yours please share a little review if you don't mind.

Also, not sure if anybody else is seeing this but at a local store they have a couple 20gal Husky compressor's on wheels marked down to $129.99

Will do if I keep one..I scored a Hoover steam mop last week finally and trying to decide really what's the difference. Not a deal on PCA,but did get these in mail today..Rest of my rebates!

2nd Husky compressor doesn't have the rattle my first one does. I retried the first one and apparently shaking it around while its running makes the rattle go away, at least temporarily. Not quite sure what it is.

2nd one has no rattle but the outlet plumbing was loose....I assume it wont hold air (havent checked on the tank yet) but I might consider just tightening it up and keeping that one instead. Build date on the rattling one is 6/15, on the non-rattly one is 1/15.

I remember reading that the husky (all CAT Compressors) has epoxy coated plumbing and needs to be heated before removal.

Interesting....the braided hose is tight, its just the brass block that it connects to on the output of the pump that is loose.

Thanks for the info....will take a look at mine when I get a chance. According to the Husky parts diagram, whats loose is "elbow" that connects to "exhaust pipe". Not sure if there should be epoxy on that fitting since I think its a flare end where the pipe connects, not sure what connection it is to the outlet of the pump.

EDIT: all set. The braided line came right off (flare end), the brass block was not epoxied or anything into the pump. Removed it completely and "reindexed" it until it ended up tight at the right angle for the braided line to reconnect. My new Knipex pliers wrench came in handy already.

I know the box has the SKU for the light printed on it, but the sticker has a different SKU on it....so who really knows whats in the box!

Actually the sticker on it looks like the same exact SKU from the top of the box and computer screen.

I stand corrected then.

When you get them, do you want my address so you can send my parting gift? :)

Don't be a chicken.

I yanked a 30" toolbox off a top shelve behind netting.

Wtf. I found six of the dewalt pancake compressors. Had guy get all 6 down. They rang up a penny. They make some calls and of course they come back and tell me they can sell them to me at the last clearance price. Tell them no I want to speak to the manager and the MOD gives me the we can't sell this at a penny. So now I call corporate and the lady there tells me it there policy that they CANT sell items at a penny.

Why would you ask for them to be brought down? Get them yourself.

Another call to corporate not needed. They will stand behind the store and say they cannot sell items from the top shelves or displays for a penny. It is up to the manager what to do. Most of the time you can get last clearance price.

Got them down, paid 24 thru sco, got receipt. Apparently customers aren't allowed to open sealed displays in the store. Consider me informed, not even mad, not a chicken tho A+ for effort. Self pat on shoulder.
