This is weird. Have you guys ever been contacted by a manufacturer when selling products online? I put up some Seek thermal imagers for sale on Amazon (wasn't getting any hits on ebay) priced much lower than any other sellers. Within a day or two, someone from the manufacturer messaged me stating I wasn't an authorized seller and to contact him with my info so I could become one. Didn't bother responding. A few minutes ago I got an e-mail notification that he just bought the 2 I had put up for sale. There's also at least 2 other sellers that are missing from the product page, so I assume all their inventory got bought out as well.

I got three emails from them. I talked to Amazon about it and they told me to ignore it.

And, no luck on the three 52-inch inch tool boxes. Walked the entire store, talk to the manager who said the count was off and change the quantity in the system to zero

Do u guys ever feel bad for buying all of them? Sometimes when someone helps me out I usually ask them if they need one for themselves that way I leave them the last one so they can purchase it. Granted it is their job to help out a customer, but if they helped me look left and right for a specific item then it is a different story.

I did that 5-7 yrs ago with the last tool box clearance deal. Girl checking me out commented on the smoking deal 80.00 for the top and bottom and that her b/f or husband would love it for xmas. Told her, I've left 2 up in the rafters, go buy them you will never get another deal like that again. (unless she got them for pennies) She hmmm'd and hawwwd.......I came back 2 weeks later they were still in the rafters. I was out and still flipping them so.......I bought them. From the discussions we've had. The employees get their beaks filled with what deals they want when they want them....
Don't feel bad.

I think the 2.0Ah would work out just fine, especially in brushless.

I have the 4.0Ah batteries for my Ryobi stuff, but its not brushless so a little less efficient on battery usage.

I havent found the 200.00 DeWalt kit yet...I believe that comes with the bigger batteries, but also the less compact tools.

the batteries are definitely bigger, i didnt check the model #s on the tools themselves in that set. i just got done hunting for it in a second store that showed it in stock but it was nowhere to be found.

I just picked up the dewalt heated carhartt coat for next to nothing < i can get more if anyone wants one > and i was thinking the 2.0ah batteries will be good in the coat < they are almost too bulky in there so bigger isnt better in this case >

I tried to grab one of the trimmers to go with my new blower today. Found the two in stock with a will call tag on them behind the desk. Bummer.

Score: Found a 20 gal compressor in the rafters today.

On Monday, I swear I saw Husky drawer liners (older SKU) at $2.03 w/ 3 in stock at a different store in the PCA. I went to that store on Wednesday and couldn't find them and it was no longer in the PCA.

Sorry I didn't get the SKU.

If they are still showing 2 in stock, they haven't been paid for

That will call compressor I found this week, PCA said one still in stock. Asked for the manager and talked with him. Told him I wanted to see if it was paid for or not and if not I'd like to buy it. The guy pulls up the order and shows me it's paid for, I asked why it's still showing one in stock and he opens up another app. Think it was named store resources. He puts in the sku and that screen showed 0 in stock. Just to be sure I checked the PCA again after that and still showed one in stock so dunno.

I picked up my compressor this afternoon as well as 2 trimmers for a coworker. Left one and when the lady at the service desk saw the price she was going to get the last for herself (she was getting done her shift). I asked her what policy was with employees buying clearance and if they just couldn't be working and she quickly turned and said I'm not working...

inventory isn't the best, found plenty of stuff the "wasn't in stock". When they can't find stuff they love to zero out inventory and sometimes forget about it up in the rafters.

Oldie. The Buss fuses were cleared out a while back, but they had a box of misc RTV and these on the floor for some reason. Grabbed all of them.

New, found these on a special cart. Grabbed one, was walking towards the registers, when someone that was Flagging for the forklift operator got all nosey "Hey can I see that, you buying that?". Oh "I thought they were special". Since there was no yellow sticker on them they gave up.

Went back and grabbed the other two off the cart :rocker:

Picked up a 52" Husky box set , display model had some damage on the bottom corner of the top box and scratches on the top of the bottom box. I think I can fix it ok, missing drawer liners , handle, key for the top box, and a couple other things. Manager was ok knocked another $35 off.

I'll call Husky tomorrow and see if they will send me the missing parts hopefully..

he manually zeroed it out. there may still be one left, but the compressors arent hidden all over the store for the most part so it should be easy to find. they are either near tools or near the front entrance/exits. if you see that store's pca hit as -1 then that was the last one (or at least the last one the system knew of). dont trust another store's pca for inventory # at that store bc that manual zero that he did will not show on the pca at another store for a while, if ever. i have tracked a few of these manual zero-out transactions and there seems to be at least three ways to do it: one way zeros inventory in that stores pca only, the other way zeroes it at all stores pca's instantly, another way zeroed it at the other stores but not until the next day. it depends on the aptitude and training of your hd associate as to what you are going to get...

Meant to say one in stock there at the end. Not none. Fixed it. But yeah I was suspicious that he manually zero'd it out. That's why I checked the PCA after I talked with him. And was confused as to why the PCA still showed 1 even though the app he used to show me showed 0. I looked thoroughly and didn't see another one, but I'll double check tomorrow after this turkey hunt in the AM.

How is everyone getting the C302H for the clearance price? Is it just the display with the old tag?

theres no way to tell til you open it.
i have a c301h, a c302h, and a mystery box
the 301 and the 302 look identical. the 301 says 135psi, the 302 says 155psi. thats the only discernable difference to the naked eye. the book for the 302 says something about being quiet, the book for the 301 says nothing about being quiet.

I thought someone mentioned the clearance compressors come on a pallet, not in a box? Could someone please list the sku numbers? I've seen mention of 2 skus for the 30 gallon, and is there a clearance 20 gallon? Ive seen 20 gallon in boxes... Hard to search through 20 pages on mobile while in store. Really want one for myself, not to flip.

Got accused of "stealing the store manager's login/password to use the computer in appliances" (Henderson, Nevada HD on Sunset). Those idiots were watching me after I looked up a few endcap clearance skus. Manager came up and asked to help and I politely said no, made some small talk, and got off the PCA. I couldn't find any good deals so I started hunting for random **** (had time to burn). None of this was a big deal until I found 3 penny items. I got 2 82"x36" patio screen doors (10 feet away from the checkout and hugeee). Also got a 40 gallon plastic pond liner (also huge). Went straight up to pro desk checkout and said they were penny (sco was closed). Girl called manager from earlier and she accused me of everything she could think of. I said they were easy to spot and 10 feet away from where she was standing. She then told her employee I stole her login/password to the computer in appliances earlier to find the pennies. Then, "he's gaming our system"....lol

I told her that was completely wrong and the items were so old the dates on them were from last year and all were caked in dust. Easy to spot and it's not my fault they ring up that way.

Two seconds later she tells me to take them. I offered to leave them there (didn't need them) and she said no also. I was entirely polite the whole time and the manager was fuming.

I should go back tomorrow but there's like 8 other stores to hit.

How is the 302 compressor being bought on clearance? I thought it was the new replacement for the 301?

I knew where 2 301s were but of course they were gone before I got to them this week. The 302s show up in store online so I can't imagine they'd ring up clearance around me too.

That doesn't mean that they aren't there. If I listened to the guy with the PCA I'd never score any deals.

This is one of the rare situations for me where I almost would want to call corporate..I don't give a damn about penny stuff to be honest.Deals at last clearance level are ridiculous anyway, but don't EVER accuse me of some bull$hit!!!

Not sure if you tried, but next time try for more off those. My new standard on store store display is automatically 25% off. And it's been working for me VERY well. I used it yesterday on a 52" Dewalt tool chest display. And he confirmed for me regular employees can do this. At first he said he couldn't go that large because he saw $650 tag on it.And manager would have to get involved. Then he scanned and saw $200 and was instantly like yeah, let's do that 25% off. Paid $150 for a LIKE NEW Dewalt set!! And had everything including bonus tool set in box inside. Of course had it sold by time i got home for $400. Since we had all them tool chests in trailer just pulled up,dropped it off, and went home.

That pump looks very simular to the pump on my Cambell Hausfield compressor. The dip stick looks like it will work on you compressor.
