I picked up one at $2.53 last week, maybe Providence store, there was only 1. It might of even been on the wrong rack slot. More likely to find the 12" v-jaws, most of the Milwaukee vise grips sold out at .06 price level.

On another note, has anybody run into these? I have seen them on hand in a couple PCA's but have yet to actually find them. I am not sure how old they are but have just recently started to see them.

Some of us don't have the luxury to let/find product at a lower clearance price point. Most times if you want the item you will have to pay that .06 price to secure the product. I understand that managers like this obv. But it's not like people are doing it to screw over your side job.

Are those Milwaukee vise grips made in China?

I have some Irwin's and Kobalt's already.. I've checked a few local stores for these Milwaukee ones but no luck yet, sold out. If they're nothing special, I won't bother putting in anymore time looking for them.

I believe this model was manufactured in China under global industries or materials? Something like that.

Yes it all drops at exactly the same time, every single store drops immediately when the info is pushed from corporate. Normally on Saturday.

I've had the price drop on me while I'm the store on Saturdays. I've got it pinned down to some time between 5pm and 7pm. Haven't had it happen enough to pin down an exact minute yet.

That dewalt combo is at .04 pricing here, I wanted it for myself and another for a close friend. I don't want either brad nailer so those will go up on CL to reduce the price (hopefully to zero actual cost). I only know of 3 within 100 plus miles so I couldn't wait any longer.

Anything like the vacs, pliers, etc. were it's a smaller item and/or there are plenty of them, I'd always wait for .03 pricing.

I'd never buy anything to flip at more than .03 pricing, there isn't enough profit to make and I don't want to do a rebuy on a flip.

In my area, I think I saw those milwaukee locking pliers at one store, every other store was an empty hook with the yellow tag where they used to be.

I'm not disagreeing with you as typically thats the case. But the Delta Kinley faucet I've been finding for a penny most places some still have it at .00 and the yellow tag is dated almost a month later. And these are two stores in the same district according the hd store list pdf. So they "should" have the same clearance prices between stores. But sure enough, one penny, one .00. Granted I didn't actually scan it, but checked the PCA.

One other store also in the same district still has homelite chainsaws at .00. Don't get it.

Next time you're in there demand to to speak with the manager and ask him why the hell he is clearancing his items all wrong.

Told u guys it is manager dependent. If it's a high volume store and they know they will get the sale they won't clearance it as quick as other stores. Up to management

It's not managers setting those clearance prices. I'm sure they can override stuff once in a while, but I think it has more to do with store size/volume.. lets say my local stores A B C D and E, D and E are smaller stores. D and E already pennied out the Homelite chainsaws, A B & C are still at $99 and $129.

A B and C still carry the Echo CS-490 and CS-590 chainsaws. D and E pennied them out last year and no longer carry them.

There's a lot of variables. Another variable is how many are still left on hand. I noticed all of the stores with the Homelite chainsaws at $99/$129 still have a **** ton left. My closest store has the Ryobi jaw saw thingy at $49 and a bunch in stock, while every other store around pennied them out last week

I can see the qty's being a factor. The stores that are still at this level have 4 or more at least of each one. I've found 3-4 stores that are lagging. Some are in different districts though.

One of those same stores still has 4 of the 14 and 4 of the 16 homelites.

9.23 for the 800 lumen without post. 19.03 for 1720 lumen w/post.

Also the floor jacks to go on .03 clearance magically disappeared from the shelf will they are still marked at full price. Love it when employee's hide ****. :lol_hitti

In my area I noticed the same type of thing with the homelite electric blowers. Every store that had any (most have over 10) are at full price while all the stores that had little stock to none were on clearance. And now those stores that clearanced them don't stock them. No rhyme or reason either. Some suburban stores have them, others cleared them out, the stores in the more urban areas, most have them and for full price.

You inspired me to swing in today and to try the one I have been watching, still rang up $99.

SCO girl was on me instantly too, as I pulled the cardboard sleave off and I scanned the original UPC and NOT the yellow one.

Isn't the original upc on cardboard sleeve?

Today was a good day, left the 325xp framing and grabbed the 2 trim, it was used slightly.
