cetech 100w inverter pennied out BUT there is a flier or something directing them to switch the display where it was located in almost every store so the inverters were gone everywhere ive looked thus far. some were gone last week before they pennied even

Definitely! I couldn't believe it was still hanging around in the main isle when I found it. It was a busy Saturday morning too, my dad pointed it out and I snagged it right away.It is nice to move it around to get things down the sink or even to move up to fill taller items.

Got the MET team talking about me today. I grab a box of penny items off their mobile cart (no one around, and the box was labeled 1 cent to) checked out and came back in. Saw one MET walking back with the box I abandoned and mentioned to another guy a customer took them off the cart and bought them. I walked right by them so surely he didn't check the video. However he did find the abandoned box pretty quick. All the other penny junk I left on the cart was moved off quick. I'll see if they have my picture on the wall next trip.
This store is a very cat and mouse game, MET is pretty on top of it.

Yeap. This store seems to drop earlier in the week than the others in the district. I got the Mayhew prybar set at .03 on a Monday, then the others trickled down tues. and wed. I'll be able to confirm by watching those pliers in the other systems.

Just checked, Amex has 5% on $100+ purchase in a single transaction up to $2k purchase - Discover is 5% back up to $1.5k purchase starting July.
So that's a possible $100, $75 back.

After the 7th time calling, probably 10 hours total on the phone, finally got my rebates approved from end of March.
I never even got confirmation for the ones I sent in for the April 17-23 period. The must have lost them.
Next time I gotta **** with these rebate retards on the phone again, i'm writing another email to the CEO and explaining how ******* useless these guys are. The lady I talked to last night (before I demanded a supervisor) sounded like she was baked out of her mind.

Think it might be by design? The whole concept of rebates is to lower the actual money saved by consumers thus increasing the amount of money to the retailer/supplier. A great way to increase the percentage is to be as consumer unfriendly as possible. After the rebate centers got busted for falsely claiming rebates were not received/incorrect etc several years ago, the next best thing was to implement policies that made it much harder for a consumer to contact and confirm a rebate. I heard this straight from a rebate center manager discussing her staff. To quote her "the more inept a employee is, the better my numbers look"

Still fighting to get mine from April as well. Got a new response today as they somehow transferred me to a Verizon rebate center in the middle of my call. They definitely want to hassle you as much as possible in hopes you'll just give it up. It's become a matter of principal for me at this point. Plus I have almost 60 bucks coming from the April offer. They are telling me Massachusetts stores are invalid and they need supervisor override. Which was supposedly granted weeks ago. Round and round we go.

Neither is there in New Hampshire, but I still get it. The rebate form does not say anything about having a Menard's nearby.

TBH, if I were the supervisor, I'd refuse, as well. Menards is a regional chain, about which I only know because I used to be an IndyCar fan. If challenged, I'd just feign ignorance and tell him it was only competitive stores in the area like Lowes, Ace, 84 Lumbar, etc.
