Found the HDX 2 gallon air compressor for $15.03, and ridgid sump pumps for pennies. I like this since they are very easy to spot.

Yea for the Ridgid pumps just look for either a 6 digit sku (vs 10 digit for the new models) and look for RSU in the model number (vs RS for the new models).

No go in this area. All the usual suspects were full price. 16" gas full price, 5 gal sucka ... Full price, did get a +10% match on a charger for lithium ion batteries I needed.

oh ya i forgot to post that i figured out the U is the diff on the pumps.. cant find any tho. i remember them dragging them out front when they hit .03.. same with ss ridgid vacs...

but hey while we are at it, do you know the diff btwn the $100+ bronze porter and the penny porter? i believe the $100+ one is listed as LF low flo but i havent found a penny to compare.

Yeah, definitely not the easiest to find items by manufacturer through search unless you refine results and select manufacturer.

The Arctic Cove bucket fans (old model) pennied out last year. Just check their current stock for any that don't say "new and improved " on it.

The other Ridgid vac is the black 5 gallon ash vac.

No clue about the faucets, I've been slacking on them.

Two stores and expecting to find all of the deals? Ha! Not all stores have the deals and some of these guys are putting in several hours a day to cover dozens of stores.

I shop 3-4 stores and might get a deal every other month. But I don't flip, so I don't look for many of them and can't justify the amount of time required.

Struck out hard on this one. Moen Haysfield and 2 Delta Arabella, all 3 wouldn't scan. They wanted to charge online price. Did get another penny Delta Porter Roman Tub though.

I screwed up my count on the homelite 16's, I thought there were 10 plus but it turns out some of the back ones were echo's. What a let down.

Did get 7 of them though. They'll go with the gutter vac I picked up Friday. I found the 11th Saturday, it was hidden a bit and missed it on Friday. There were suppose to be 12 from when I saw them in the system when they were .06.

Unless I see easy flips, I'm not paying more than a penny for anything. My space is a bit limited right now with that stuff and some other things, so I'll take pennies but nothing else until I free up room.

I don't even really care about the saws, I gave away 3 to friends already, probably sell the others this fall.

I concur.

Assuming you could actually acquire $2 million worth of merchandise, the only way I could see to move this much stuff is if you had an army of 19 kids like the Duggars. You'd also have to do a much better job than they did in cutting out any late night sibling molestation to keep your crew performing at 100%.

I think you're right on. Stores in the suburbs are full of homeowner diy guys like myself who enjoy these kind of projects. It's the inner city I should be checking out. Different demographics maybe?

imo, dont skip stores. chances are, you or someone like you is 'inventory mgmt'.
i have seen a few 'met' teams at diff stores... one late night crew in particular picked a traditionally good store clean but the traditionally clean store had pennies everywhere

There are 2 particular stores, you might get a penny here and there from but it's going to be so rare it's not worth the drive or time. They are the exception, most have some things you can get.

yeah, there is no way you could do 2 mil unless you had 100 people working across the country. That's a lot of money whether it's .03 stuff or penny stuff way too much for anyone to get.

At the store today 2 employees were hiding 3 33 gallon compressors, $82 each, I was not going to buy, but acted like I was, lol... I heard one say, how the hell will I pay mine! Wife of one of them paid for 1..... They took the other 2 and hide them in the gardening section , if they are there tomorrow I take one, I doubt it

Agree on the faucets. I've gotten close to 40 penny faucets at just a handful of stores this weekend. Went to SCO with 11 of them at one store today and the cashier was shocked but didn't say anything to me.

Also found a Ridgid WD5500 wall-mount vac today.

Here are some finds over the last week or so:

I've seen these in the PCA at a few stores:

The model number in the PCA is wrong. It's the LXLM04 and not the DML802 that's on clearance.

Was also able to find this for $165:


In my area, the mobile workbenches started to clearance out at the same time as everywhere else but jumped back to full price for a while. They finally hit .03 and I've been able to find two so far. One was a display that had the flier for the newer, adjustable top model.


Went to a store that I've been to only once before and found this:

This is the first one I've seen since they dropped to $125.03.

Once it rang up for a penny, they called the store manager at home to get his approval. He told them to just charge me the difference between $125 and the total of the rest of the stuff I was buying. After they got off the phone, all they told me was that he okayed it at last clearance and then asked if I needed anything else. When I replied that I was all set, they filled me in on the the rest of the deal. I only had about $50 worth of other items in my cart and they wouldn't let me go back to get more. Not really one to look a gift horse in the mouth and was more than okay with paying $75.
