no chance of being ripped off. it's like getting new for used prices.
the only remorse you'll have is when you find yourself spending more.

How do you get the birthday coupon code? my Bday is coming up at the end of the month.

I went ahead and did the 3/8 premium ratchet to see what all the hype is about. $59.99-$5-$5-$7.50=42.49 +6.95 shipping (out of stock in all stores) + 3.46 = $52.90 out the door.

They sent me an e-mail with the coupon code. Its 10 dollars off a purchase of 30 dollars or more

Snap-on sells a 16 piece mastic removal kit model# NYZ7007HD for $93.10 here: LINK.

For half the price, you can purchase from this eBay seller a previous model Snap-on 16 piece mastic removal kit (model# AT590MRK) for $56.99 (includes shipping) here: LINK.

I purchased this item last week. I received the kit today and I am satisfied with the purchase. The mastic removal kit came in its original box and a plastic tray. The seller should accept a "best offer" of $40.00 (my offer price to him for the kit; the total price will be $47.00). He currently has 2 mastic removal kits in stock. I attached below an image of the Snap-on model# AT590MRK kit. I cannot tell the difference between the old AT590MRK and the new NYZ7007HD kits.

2/21/2011 Update:

The above eBay deal has ended due to the 2 Snap-on kits being sold.

Interesting, thanks.
So it's an assortment of different width blades? How flexible are they?

bchee,

The above attached picture mirrors what is included in the Snap-on mastic removal kit (model# AT590MRK) I received from the eBay seller. The kit comes with six 1" blades, six 1/2" blades, and three 1/4" blades. All of the blades are rigid.

35 GW deal is pretty good if you can find the +2 bonus pieces for a total of 10 pieces. True value had this deal for 30 some weeks ago and sears matched it with the 2 bonus pieces.

Wow that was fast, just got my 84T premium 3/8 ratchet! this thing seems nice, i'll put it to the test putting together some HF stuff this weekend.

EDIT: they mention the Snap-on Dual 80 on the packaging, thought that was kinda funny.

Also, in case anyone is interested, I know this is kind of a random tool, but Amazon is selling Craftsman 9-44211 10-Inch Black Ind.Finish 1/2-Inch Drive Extension Bar for $4.62 (down from $17.45) with free shipping if you have Amazon Prime. I just ordered one myself- for that price you can't beat it.

The Craftsman Premium Ratchets all went on sale for the first time today. Each is $10 off.

I'm sure there are other coupon codes that you can find to help the price a little more. No shipping if you pick up in store.
Nice find! The most I've seen this discounted for was 10% off during an "everything off" sale.

Mentioned the deal in a ToolGuyd DealGuyd post today, crediting you at the end. Hope that's okay with you.

Are there any current Sears online coupons for items below $50.00? I have not been able to find any on the internet.

Thanks,

Dave

On most of the Sears product pages there is a button to "Follow Price" If you click on that you can select to have Sears email you whenever the price drops. I must have done that months ago. I got the email at around 9 AM which is not bad considering I bet they changed the prices last night.

Oh, it looks like there is a free shipping code for order over $99... "USA" for those of you not close to a store.

Vaughn stuff still clearancing at HD

Just went by my HD and they must have found some stock in corners of the store as a few ball peins were in the clearance bin. Marked $7 but rang up for less. Looked on the regular racks and found 2 nail pullers behind the Estwing ones. Picked up:
Ball pein $4.56
Brick Hammer $8.36
2 Nail Pullers $.01 ea.
Plus 20% off the order with a HF coupon
Total $10.35 plus tax

Wahoo!

Pulled the trigger today. $322.83 with CA tax. I will shortly not be a Snap-On virgin anymore.

Does Snap-On do stuff like this very often? If so, this is going to be expensive whenever it happens. I actually like the concept of starting with 1/2" because if they do 3/8" or 1/4" it can't possibly be this expensive for the next rounds.

What I really want is a nice set of screwdrivers at 1/2-off.

I did have a little trouble with the 20% HF coupon. Had to go to 2 different cashiers. They wanted a paper coupon rather than the one on my phone like last time. Then they wondered if a printed out copy was OK. I said it was the way these coupons came. They had had a meeting about it recently. Then they noticed it was on one item only, but I said it had been accepted before for the whole order. They checked with the manager on duty and based on it being a small sale he OK'd it for the whole order......only cost them a buck or so more. Cheap customer goodwill.

I spotted the free shipping too, and it's good until the 22nd.

+1 - really - I just got back from Home Depot and not a single Vaughn hammer/hatchett/nail puller on sale or anything.

Just picked up the Gladiator Project Caddy at Lowes on clearance for $39 + tax. ($44 - military discount - Thanks Lowes!)

I have seen these at Lowes for about $75 and $80 other places.

Well, I tried the True Value route, they are already out of stock on the metric sizes..:(

Picked up the same set yesterday at Sears for 34.99. Not bad in my opinion. I too found out True Value was out of stock. Guy at the counter said it was from an October 2010 special.

Just to let everyone know, I ordered mine on Thursday evening and received it yesterday afternoon (Friday). I know there wasn't an image attached, but it is indeed the 10" Craftsman impact grade 1/2" extension and it appears to be in good shape. For $4.62, it's one of the best deals I've had.

Stopped in HD near me. Same stuff you bought was ~$17+tax. I passed.

Why are things priced so differently, even in NJ?
