weldfabulous.com use to put their Metabo disc on sale every once in awhile. I wanna say a box of 50 was around $50 for their 5" version. Just check every now and then.

If that's indeed the correct price & quantity, then that's a hell of a deal. If previous quality of Metabo cut-off wheels (German-made) is anything to base it on.

Stolen from slickdeals:
"
Get it while it's hot. Great deal for a Mitutoyo mic with these features (.0001", ratchet). Very nice.

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001OBTI3Y/?tag=atomicindus08-20

If you're more of a made in the USA guy, then here's a 0-1" Starrett micrometer for $64.88. Another very good deal. Please note: the pictures on Amazon are not of this micrometer. This has no ratchet or digital counter, but it's still a great mic. I've carried one around for 15 years now. Great price.

"

I know nothing about these, so cannot verify if actually hot deal or not...

just a follow up. i received my wrench set in the mail promptly-- on wednesday to be exact. very happy w/ my $10 purchase. bonus was the wrenches are 6 point on the box end. as i will likely use these as brake bleeder wrenches. 78 left as of this writing, and he was accepting $10 offers.

Just looked at the 5" box of 50. It's around $67. When i bought mine they were on the front page with a sale price. The box of 100 4 1/2" disc is $101 which is still a decent deal. I won't use another cut off wheel after going to the Metabo's.

Now, all I need are for ppl to take an extra 10 seconds after creating a deal thread to post a link to it here. If not, I'm sure I'll catch most deals. =)

Thanks for sharing. I ordered a set this morning ($10 + $3.75 shipping) and I just got a email saying the should arrive on the 26th or 27th.

They came in the mail today 10/24/2011.

You guys got special treatment. My $10 offer was countered with $12, then I countered with $11 and got it. I'm not sweating the extra dollar though. ;)

Sorry to hear that. I started at $8, he countered $11, I offered $9.50 and he accepted it.

Guessing he bought the lot at $2-$3 each - he's still making $$, otherwise he would not have accepted it.

Craftsman Professional 29pc Cobalt drill bit set in metal index, $58.49 after Craftsman Club discounts. Regularly $100, discounts appear in cart. These are imports and carry no warranty beyond your receipt-return period, just like Irwin and Dewalt.

These are up to $63.74 after discounts and SEARS5OFF50 coupon this weekend, but still one of the least costly ways to get a 29pc Cobalt drill index filled. I bought two sets last weekend, I'm pleased with the quality enough to shelve the Ridgid set I had been using. The Ridgid small set in Home Depot ($29) is 13pc, only goes to 3/8 and has an odd 143° tip pattern.

I was able to do the exact same thing and he accepted.

Looks like it is in-store only. It's on page 8 of the "Menards Home Improvement Catalog" that can be viewed HERE

The price is $49.98 in store and there is a $20 MIR that brings the final price to $29.98. Good through 11/6.

2pk A/B NitroStrike fire extinguisher aerosol, $10 +S&H on woot.com. Deal ends 12:59AM EST, shipping on up to three kits is $5. Suggested retail is $25 each can, comparable products are $10-20 each can.

Type A/B fire extinguishers are not suitable for electrical fires, and small extinguishers like these should be treated as supplemental only, not as a primary means of fighting fire. I've kept similar fire extinguishers in all my vehicles and at shop workstations for years, but always A/B/C rated. Products like this are typically single use only.

Fireade 2000 is the "soap", I mean wetting agent inside with the water and nitrogen, still hard to pass up 4 cans for $25 to have "something" in the car.

No way is it going to be close to as effective as a dry chemical, but if you have ever tried to clean up after a dry chemical you would have a strong urge to let just about anything burn instead of using it.

Wow do I miss Halon when it was cheaper and easier to get. 2.5 lb halon will put out a serious amount of fire and do zero damage.

I carry an H3R extinguisher for that reason. It's Halotron (what replaced Halon). You're right, I'd almost rather let my car burn than spray it with dry chemical.

Yup, our car extinguisher is Halotron as well. With the kind of stuff we do (way into the backcountry), there's a BIG chance that, even if we set the car on fire, we'd still need to shelter in the car until help arrived. Halotron isn't quite as effective as dry chem, but it leaves the car clean and safe. Dry chem would force us to abandon the shelter of the car.
