The deep sets are the best deals. I've been watching for awhile and the lowest prices i've seen lately was $35 a set. They are normally $50 a set.

There are probably more sets on sale. These are just the ones I found quickly.

no problem. co-worker bought a set today as well. i figure i may never use the 4, 5, 5.5, and 6mm wrench. the 7, 8 and 9 i run into enough times it is worth having extras. i have blown $13 total on worse stuff in my life. this is something if i use once it pays for itself. didn't need it but too good to pass up.

same seller has a bunch of tools listed in his ebay store w/ best offer. i maygo through it later tonight.

I also snapped up a 1/2" metric socket set on the Sears deal, so thanks a bunch to the OP.

I noticed while I was at Sears that they have a lot of their open stock Pro screwdrivers on the clearance rack, including the heavy duty models, for $3 - $6 each. As far as I could tell, these were the same as the ones in the regular shelves being offered at list price. I walked out with 7 various sizes for a total of $31.

It was a deal for me, although not that much off. I bought a sears flex-head 1/2 drive USA made ratchet (reg 32.99) for 26.94 w/$5 off $50 (when I also got the 3/8 flex head ratchet and a craftsman pro screwdriver (total $53 w/in store pickup of all three items).

Why I think it is a deal is I go into Lowes and their new taiwan 1/2 drive flex head is like $68 bucks! The craftsman is really nice and made in USA. The Kobalt 3/8 is almost $30! Even the regular price rocks compared to other alternatives, but the sale makes it cheaper.

agreed, when ordering from amazon i only purchase items that are sold by amazon, thus not having to pay for shipping. When i found this i was ordering a bigger nupla extreme dead blow that seemed to have grown legs and walked away. I will have to look up the metal faced one you are referring to, seems like it would come in handy.

I am looking at this deal also. Read the fine print of the rebate and it seems a little vague as to how it's applied. Will stop by at Sears in Newport Mall at Jersey City to check it out later. I am looking at the 1/2 chain drive listed at 130 online. Chains are suppose to be noisy but my garage is detached so it's not an issue for me. Will report back with my findings.

When I had openers installed, I used Jaeger Garage Doors for the whole deal, new doors and openers. They're very reputable, and only use 3/4HP Liftmaster products. The red label Craftsman belt drive is nearly identical to what's hanging in my garage, and 1/2 the price this weekend. My only regret is that I didn't insist on a jackshaft opener for more overhead clearance. The belt drive is quiet and easy to maintain, but I'm not sure there's any real advantage over chain drive.

The rebate basically involves you buying the item at full price and them giving you a gift card for the difference plus 10% usually. So you're saying that they are giving you a gift card for double the difference between the regular and sale price?
