Fenix LD20 LED flashlight dropped in price on Amazon. From $55 to $45, free shipping.

As mentioned in my TG post, this is a phenomenal light. I've had one for a while now, about a year and a half, and it's excellent! Made in China, but made very well.
lol, my wife just emailed me about the sale just now. You know it's a hot deal if my wife finds out about it!

Any word on PB Swiss having a black friday sale this year?

No word yet. My last emails to them all went ignored so I didn't bother asking.

Out of curiosity, about how long will fresh rechargeable batteries power the flashlight? Assuming regular daily use, they're not sitting around self-discharging, etc. Thanks for the link btw.

To be honest, I'm not sure.

Runtime is claimed to be:

General Mode: 9 lumens (71 hours) -> 50 lumens (13 hours) 105 lumens (5 hours) -> SOS
Turbo Mode: 205 lumens (2 hours) -> Strobe

Just saw this on facebook via Chad's toolbox. They're offering a pre-Christmas Wera sale. Most everything [excepting individual drill bits] is at 40% off.

Just received my Wiha order and I can honestly say I've never held a better screwdriver, these are AMAZING!

Thanks to the OP for the heads up, I love them!

I got mine a few days ago. These things are great. I was doing a rear trailing arm job on my E30 BMW a few weeks ago and had to use a screwdriver and hammer to knock an axlenut lockplate off and felt aweful using my old craftsman drivers to hammer on. I remembered Wiha had those capped drivers and thought I'd add them to my xmas wish list. I saw the deal on the website and thought I'd post it up. I'm glad I orded them right away they are getting bought up fast! The microfinish is real nice too. My wife remarked at how heavy they are which made me happy.

I just picked up an SAE & metric 3/8" Craftsman socket set at (an almost) local ACE Hardware. Were on a display but no price displayed. Everything else had prices. I got the last pair. I went to another local Ace store and they didn't even have the display! So I guess you have to go in each store & hunt. Its a deal though. $4.99 per 11 socket-set. I have 3 sons who would get them as stocking stuffers.

The run times quoted on the Fenix website are pretty accurate. I get a little over 2 hours on Turbo with Energizer 2300mAh NiMH cells. It gets pretty warm to the touch though. The times listed for the lower settings should be pretty close too. I use my LD20 daily, and swap the batteries about twice a week.

I'd like to be on the Marketing team at Wiha USA to see what the ordering pattern and google analytics reveal about this deal and GJ.

Wiha heavy duty are best of the best... really

Heavy, thru handle bolster, laser tip, excellent feel in the hand and good grip, nice steel for the shafts

Probably the last set of screwdrivers any of us will ever likely need to buy.

They're just THAT damned good.

Got the welder from TSC today.

She couldn't find the parts kit for it (was a display model) so gave me all the hobart 190 parts (not the special spool gun that comes extra with the 190).
She said it also usually has some extra tips so she threw in some.030 hobart tips from the shelf.

Then as I am checking out she said she would give it to me at cost for $427!

So walked out with everything for $450.

Just worried if the 190 mig gun with work with the 187 as it has this extra plug on it that the 187 does not have.

If you read it on the interweb it must be true. :monkey_po

i would like to score a welder deal too. would this be a good deal? Hobart 190 WITH spoolrunner, free shipping, (no tax for me), $50 gift card and on sale $20 off. so $829 - $50 gift card= $779 (which is $30 off the 190 without the spoolrunner (valued at between $220 and $240)

OR a Handler 210 with spoolgun for $899, and $50 off.

AND if you spend $170 or 100 more on these...you get a $100 gift card.

edit....my bad. i was comparing the 210(230amp model) to the 210MVP (230/115V model)

this basically makes the 210 $320 less than if you got the 210 with a spool gun at TSC.

is this a great deal?

Yes. Those are perhaps the worst torx bits. I love Lisle stuff, but HF would actually be a better option here.

Anyone make a good set? I borke my HF ones, so went out and got the craftsman ones. Seems better and could take more abuse but I have not technical information to back that up.
