Not sure if the HD Black Friday ad was out or not (I heard it wasn't) I was snooping around looking for a drill press (by the way is it in a big box or is some assembly required?) and I noticed alot of upper racks had pallets with pink tags saying Black Friday yada yada. So you can atleast get an idea of what it is, not so much prices though.
There ad is not out yet, but has been leaked. I pulled out the major parts and posted it to TG. http://toolguyd.com/2011/11/home-depot-black-friday-2011-tool-deals/

Anyways, if the larger drill presses are packed the same way smaller ones are, the base, column, and motor head will be in 3 separate pieces and require assembly.

If you don't have a scaffold, I HIGHLY recommend these. Couldn't have built my garage without them. I just saw that TSC will have them on sale for $139 which is a SMOKING deal on these.

If you haven't used a rolling scaffold before, it will make you want to throw out your ladders! Also they disassemble and store easily.

I believe the SKU on this drill press is 300-864
FWIW I thought the sku that rang up for me was 430-264? I do see that the 300-864 brings up the drill press on the website, but 430-264 brings up something else, but I swear that's the sku that the drill press had on it and the guy punched into the computer. I'll double check when I get home.

Bosch 18V Drill/Impact Deal Details (via TG)

I couldn't believe my eyes! $111 minus the current $20 off $100+ promo, -> $91 at checkout!

This includes the newest compact drill that just came out this summer.

Look to the right, it's sold by Amazon under "more buying choices" with a 3-6 week lead time.

Yes, I just saw this is on SD and was about to post it here. You beat me to it.

This is a killer deal IMHO! Lithium Ion, 2 batteries, quick charger and impact. This beats any of those BF deals which are typically old Ni Cad SKUs.

I saw it on Amazon, posted to TG, whipped out CC, came here, finished TG post, then went to SD where I saw it there.

Even though I have plenty of 18V drills and drivers for review, I needed a new one for personal use. Well, wanted one for personal use.

$91 is an absolute steal for the drill/driver or impact alone. Heck, you probably cannot buy 2 li-ion batteries for the price!

Plus these are the new 1.5 Ah compact li-ion batteries to boot.

Yes!! I bought a second set just for the extra batteries. Cheaper then buying batteries "ala carte"!!

Even with tax, that's still an insane price. Heck, $150 would have been a hot deal!

I'm contemplating whether to do that as well.

Maybe then sell the extra bare tools to recoup the cost.

AWESOME deal on the Bosch Combo... I was eying it yesterday at Menards for $179. Paid under $95 with one-day shipping when they get it back in stock.

I just saw that as well.

It might be worth checking back, though. In the past deals like this have popped back after a short oversell panic.

And... I bought a combo for personal use. Or maybe as a gift since, not sure yet.

Thanks as always Stuart. Bought one for myself, I've wanted an impact driver for a while. Fingers crossed that Amazon doesn't cancel this.

for some reason it's telling me the deal is no longer available... the price is showing $189.99 lucky guys.

Still says 5 new from 110.89 or something like that but then you can't buy for that price.

I'm hopeful that it's not a mistake, but who knows.

They might be reevaluating their fulfillment abilities. They already sold all they had and then sold a lot with a 3-6 week lead time. They might not get any more for a looooong time, haha. That's what happened with Knipex pliers a lot of us ordered a while back. Took 2-3 months before they shipped.

10 minutes too late!

Got one of the Ridgid DP1550 drill presses yesterday for $74 and change plus tax out the door. Thanks to all who posted this. I was jealous of everyone who got this drill press last year at $149. There was still one left at the Woodland Hills, CA store - as of 1:00P yesterday - and inventory showed one at the West Hills store. I had to do a lot of talking to convince them that it was in their store somewhere. Finally found two VERY high on shelf. Actually go good customer service - got the DP down and inspected both boxes to see which one looked in the best shape. Sorry to the guy who gets the other box. Now, I realize that if it's missing parts, etc, I'm probably screwed...

The drill press has a lifetime service agreement. I don't know what that's worth if it's discontinued, but it should mean something? When they offer their lifetime service agreement on their ridgid stuff, they have to know that the items won't be offered forever?

Where are you finding their inventory?!?!? Or I should say how so?

The tip size is printed on the handle at the transition right before the blade. The striking cap is plain metal. Not sure where it is on a Wera.

For the online Sears sale for Black Friday, does anyone know when it starts? Stuey said you can buy stuff for in-store pickup. Does it start at 4AM, and if so what time zone?

Sears is unclear about that.

Regarding the deals I posted in my Sears BF 2011 deals page, all they said thus far is:

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill., Nov. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- In honor of the Black Friday tradition of shopping for super savings and the best values, Sears will offer customers more than 900 doorbuster deals and provide Shop Your Way Rewards Members with exclusive coupons and offers.

Sears gives customers more ways to shop, including Buy Online, Pick-Up In-Store, which enables customers to order doorbusters online from the comfort of their home and pick up their items in-store at their convenience.

and
Listening to its customers, who say they don't want to be forced to shop at midnight to get the best deals, Sears will open its doors on Friday, Nov. 25, at 4 a.m. Sears doorbuster deals(2) will be available from 4 a.m. until 1 p.m. (local time) on Friday, Nov. 25.

I would imagine that the deals will go live 4am CT since Sears is based in Chicago and reference CT for online promos. Stores open 4am local time obviously.

I'll keep an eye out for updates. Maybe the sale will go live online sooner.

Looks like the same scaffold Harbor Freight has for $99 with coupon...

Also missed out on the drill deal, oh well.

Put your store number at the end of this link to check HD inventory on the drill press. Also take out the space at the beginning to make it active.

I checked almost every store in the area.. 1 showed 1 but they do not have it. They did inventory a few days ago so the guy was like, no way we have one.

It most likely means they'll fix it or, if necessary, replace it with a comparable model, unless there's some clause in their warranty pertaining to discontinued items, which I highly doubt. All items become discontinued sooner or later.

What others are they aside from the 8? Also, how long did it take to get them?

All 5 stores within 1.5 hrs from me show as "not sold at this store" :(

It took about a week for them to arrive, I originally ordered just the HD set since I have two drawers of Craftsman drivers but ordered the non-HD drivers today.....another $70 plus shipping poorer thanks to this forum

Hard to pass up at ~50% off though: http://www.wihatools.com/special_09.htm

Be sure to click on the FREE TOOLS button on the front page (they really should move this to the checkout page but were nice enough to add mine after the fact after I emailed them for the last order)
