the FLEX one is in a very good price. Is that regular 1/2'' ratchet at $16.99 a good deal too ?

Both are excellent deals. The street price on the regular one is at least $40 if not more.

The problem is Grainger has no problem cancelling orders if they feel there's been a mistake. So keep our fingers crossed...

Well, this is unfortunate. Almost everything I've tried to add to my cart (wet-dry vac, drill bits, mechanix gloves, Gearwrench ratcheting set) has returned this message when I try to select store pickup:

"Due to high customer demand, this item is currently unavailable for "Buy Online, Pick Up In Store"; however limited quantities may be available for in store purchase at your local Sears store."

Kind of defeats the purpose of internet buying? This is in the SF Bay Area, all stores. Anyone else having the same problem? One thing I did manage to add to my cart was the $12 multimeter.

sounds like you have enough in mind to meet the $99.99 free shipping.
Why not just let them ship everything?
I think the door buster on line sale items is good till 3:00 PM ct IIRC

Now Damm it, this is the 2nd time this has done this.
At sears and now the flashlight site.
I get all the way to the end, and click confirm, and just get a blank page.
Using Fire Fox Ver 8.
Any Idea?
I don't know if it went through or not.

Used IE and It went through OK.
That must be Free Shipping Too, They didn't say, or I missed it.
Just looked like a cool flashlight.
Won't take it to work though, too many things get stolen or trashed by disrespectful people there.
I'll take one of the Sears lights there.

That's what they're hoping for with the Wingman and Sidekick's "entry-level" pricing. But to be honest, I have one of each on my desk right now, and they're damn good tools for the money.

I watched your review on the toolguyd website, and I'm hard pressed to understand the $10 price difference. Is it down to a matter of scissors on the Wingman vs the wood knife on the Sidekick? Does the Sidekick have tighter tolerances possibly?

Sidekick has plain edge blade (easier to sharpen and usually more popular with heavy users), wood saw, and the two accessories.

Wingman has combination blade, package opener, and scissors instead of the saw.

Overall features and build quality is laregly the same. They're in the same class, but with the Sidekick positioned as the slightly higher-end one due to the noted component differences.

I ordered 2 and they didn't have them in stock. The local Grainger will call called me about 20 mins after I placed the order and they said they are waiting on the manufacturer to send them more. He said they were targeting Dec 9.

Fingers are crossed they don't get cancelled.

In for one of each ratchet @ Grainger. There's a branch close by, so I did will call too. Much better deal than paying $9 in shipping. Fingers crossed, but no great loss if it's cancelled. The price seems too good to be real.

I got the same message so I went to the store at 4:30 AM and picked up 3 of the Gladiator Garageworks 30" Premier Cabinets. This is the first time I have ever done any shopping on Black Friday. I was back home in 2-hours caught a quick nap and was standing in line at the local wine shop that was offering 25% off any case of wine. All in all, a very fruitful day!

Just attempted the Ridgid 15" Drill press deal. Register didn't recognize it in system, pocket scanner didn't either, and nothing in the master system. The manager gave me the chance of $50 off the internet price of $499...no thanks. :( It was at one of the stores in VA Beach, if any other locals want to give it an attempt.

Same way with Lowes and the Flashlights. Said Temporarily out of stock or Limited stock . Would not give the option to buy online pick up in store.
Went there at 4:30 and there were plenty of the 2 D cell LED mag lights left.
They were out of the shop Vac. (I just wanted to look at it, as I do have one being shipped, along with 2 mag lights) But they said If I wanted to pay for it today, more were coming in.
I got 1 (more) Fashlight today.

Not the same. Sears' deal is for premier, Lowes clearance was for bolt-together. I have one of the bolt-togethers, and it's okay. Assembly required some modification since parts didn't fit together properly.

I was going to buy a few more at Lowes in addition to the 4 I ordered online. And then I realized that they didn't come with batteries.

I went back to HD and bought 5 at $15.88 each. They had dwindling supplies, though.

D batteries cost $1-$1.50 each. 2D = $2-$3. Maglite with batteries for $15.88 or Maglite w/o for $14.97.

I'll likely return 2 out of the 4 from my Lowes order once they arrive. Couldn't cancel earlier, their phone was in endless hold cycle, and online system was bogged down as well.

Well I'll go ahead and open the flood gates on this one. It seems Grainger is now carrying SK stuff. Most are at industrial prices so nothing to exciting, other than these two.

Yeah, I might return one of the ones they ship me with the receipt I got today.
Might just keep them too.
Oh I didn't know HD had the batteries with there Mag lights.
Just got a 16 Pac of Duracell AA batteries for $9.97. My Nikon camera uses them and I think the sears LED light too.
Flashlights I am using at work I can get the batteries Free, I could take them home too, but I don't like to.

I got the same message and loled.

I tried to get in touch with that guy, Paul Allen, in the past, and he flat out ignored my emails.

In this case, it looks like someone scheduled all the emails but never put up the sales. Someone's going to be in trouble come Monday morning!

I sent Paul an email about the sale issues, but that sales reminder email is probably timed and sent unmanned. Being the holiday weekend and all they're more than likely off until Monday.

I say we wait until Monday. I'm sure they'll realize the mistake and will re-offer the deal then. We might even get a better deal if we're nice. :)

Not very many things though.

Picked up an Arcan XL35 Floor Jack at Northern Tool for $99 - same as the costco jack only black, no padding and don't have to pay a membership - got it home and works perfectly - it is a heavy sucker but rolls smoothly.

Wiha BF deals are also working for me.

Anyone have feedback on the Wiha digital caliper? Seems like a pretty good deal, 2/3 off according to them, and Swiss made. Or should I just wait for a deal on a Mitutoyo?
