I just have to give a big thanks for you guys that find these deals and post them up for everyone to use even if my wife hates it. I just can't get it through her head of the money that I have saved when she see's all these new tools laying on the work bench. Now if I can just get my hands on that 20 piece Gearwrench set that Sears had and I missed out on.

Again a big thanks,
Gary

Funny, my wife hates this site also.

Thanks Stuey, just wondered because it seems you can't even sign up for a email alert from a store anymore without receiving and replying to a signup email confirmation.

So do u think they will email us then when there is another survey or product to test?

Thanks for someone bringing up the Dewalt $25 discount for $100+ orders on Amazon more than once (usually it seems so repetitive). It didn't stick that this was a good deal until I really thought about it a minute ago.

I ordered the 1/2" impact bare tool for $109 (got $25 off) and made a separate order for a pair of batteries for $100.95 (got $25 off too). I haven't seen either for what I just paid retail ever.

Thanks, I just saved $50!

hi, AMAZON has select Dewalt tools and accessories on special now.If you spend $100.00 or more you can get $25.00 off.I bought the 3/8'' impact and impact kit for 103.00 or so and got $25.00 off plus free shipping, Then bought a 1/4'' impact and another impact kit 100 plus and got the $25.00 off that one too!! Heres the impact chuck they have. Just below the IN STOCK is where the $25.00 off $100.00 purchase.

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000KKWLE8/?tag=atomicindus08-20 :shocking:
Wish I had money to blow for a 1/2" drive impact.

For those of you that got the Wiha screwdrivers and having second thoughts, I'm trying to complete a set, need the following in BLACK only, not the new black/purple:

Wiha #2 Phillips p/n#53410
Wiha #3 Phillips p/n#53425
Wiha 6.5mm Flat p/n#53320

A lot of images online show black, but shipping is now the purple one. If you have the black HD microfinish and want to sell, pm me!

I'm open to buy an entire set from you too and keep the extras in my set! Extras are good, I lose things.

If you use wiha.com/international you should be able to get them.

I just got one and the shipping was $5.99 not $7.50. Looks like a very nice set. Thanks for the heads up on this one guys!

Steve

Sorry about the confusion. I ordered two, hence the slightly higher shipping fee.

So do u think they will email us then when there is another survey or product to test?

Yes, that's my impression, but I'll double check.

Any other members received their Bosch combo deal already.

I had a delivery estimate Dec 22, 2011 to Jan 10,2012 before. I changed the shipping address and now it says

"We'll notify you via e-mail when we have an estimated delivery date for this item. It will ship separately. You can cancel at any time".

Emailed Amazon and what they did was upgrade me to 2 days shipping but no estimated delivery date. :(

Got mine. Had a Nov 29th ETA then Dec 1st then Dec 5th it arrived.

Don't worry, I'm sure Amazon will come through.

Remember that Bosch has a $20 off $100 promo going on. Retailers all over the country are probably reordering more kits to restock.

I got in on the cyber monday wiha screwdrivers (red handles) and I have to say, I'm quite impressed with them. I was a little skeptical that they could live up to the hype, so I actually had low expectations, but I love em. I won't say I was "blown away" by them or anything, but they are definitely, by far, the nicest screwdrivers I've handled. I wouldn't want to use any other screwdrivers I have if I can help it. Great heft and balance, great comfort, really nice tips, and overall top notch quality. The case is very nice too, but I'm not sure I'll continue to use it. Although I also don't have the heart to throw it out ;) Thanks all for pushing me over the edge on these babies.\

If they have them again on another cyber monday deal this month, I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Kobalt 10-piece Metric or SAE 1/4" 6-point socket sets, $5.98 each. These are $19.98 original price which was too high, $9.98 for the last couple weeks which is a fair if not good price. $5.98 is awesome.

hi , i posted it and got more goodies. Did you see the IMPACT accessories ?? You gotta monitor the pricing. It changes from day to day or hour to hour. Glad you took advantage of it.Never have enough! The 18 volt 1/4'' impact is awesome!! That takes the hex bits. It is so much better than a drill with the hex adapter in it. Good luck! bob

Well guys, I just wanted to let you all know I have got to stop coming here for a few weeks. If I don't no one else is going to get a Christmas present. In the last month you all have talked me into the following:

Wiha ~ Never even heard of them before this thread and now have every industrial soft grip plier they make. All the black handled HD micro grip screwdrivers. The BF softgrip set. Torx set, magnetizer, measure up screwdrivers and probably some other stuff I forgot about.

Hobart Handler 187 ~ Picked it up for $450 and I know where three more are if your in central Texas.

Gear wrench ~ SAE & Metric in the following. X-beams, 10 piece standard, flex head

Sears~ chisel set, impact sockets SAE & Metric, and numerous other odds & ends

Lowes ~ 2-3D & 2-2D LED Maglights... These things are awesome.

Thanks to all of you for finding these deals and helping me blow my money!

Apologies if this is a dupe, but at Sears today I nabbed 9 piece RP wrenches for $15 a set. I was expecting to pay $20 for the 8 piece sets like on the website.

Not a dupe. They're half-off right now.

The 8pc sets sometimes sell in cardboard boxes for $10 to get people into the store.

Did you receive your two sets of wiha L-Key?
I ordered two but received only one set in the box. Damn.
Not yet.

Since you got it today, could you please give a short review or summary? I saw some people complain about the holder, is it true? Is it made in Germany?
I am trying to persuade myself :):)

I'm sorry I just saw this, I'll try to answer your question and another persons question.
I ordered 2 sets on Sunday. Two sets were delivered on Wednesday in a much larger than expected box.
The actual tools are very nice chrome vanadium cr-v finish. Made in Germany. I don't know what people are saying about the holder but it is not as nice as the actuall tools. I'm supprised they cheaped out on the holder. In my opinion, the holder is on par with any $10 allen key set (Mind you this is suppose to be a $40-$70 allen key set).
I wouldn't let the holder stop you from ordering them. I didn't need the set as I have at least 2-3 other plain jane sets but these are the nicest quality wise.
Oh.. I forgot. The long end of the allen key has a friction ring of sorts. Kind of like the friction ring on a impact anvil. I don't know how well that will work but I doubt it would hinder it in any way.

^^ I got my two sets in the mail today. I dont mind the holder at all. I dont really know how you can mess that up to be honest with you... anyway, I'm impressed with the wrenches. Very nice.

I know this is old news, but someone asked.

I finally picked up my $17 SK flex ratchet today from Grainger.

Sigh. I thought I had a couple coming. Grainger went so far as to charge my CC and send an email stating they were on backorder, due to ship on Dec. 2nd. Then yesterday, the charge was reversed. So close...

Anyone know if the ratcheting mechanism in the 42472 is the same as the 42470, 10 1/4" cousin?
