Got the wiha hex keys in. Wow they are nice. Didn't realize how many sizes it had too. Some big/long ones in there. Love ball ends and the magic ring is a neat idea. The holders have a cool easy acces once you figure it out. And of course they just scream quality when you handle them. What a steal.

very nice set. pretty long though, they don't fit in the holder I was going to put them in... oh well I am sure there will be another deal to waste my... I mean spend my money on. This thread is evil.

You didn't buy the hex keys? Its worth every penny.

The kiosk wasn't loading pages properly. After a few hiccups I got to the final page and it wouldn't do anything when I clicked "submit." I got fed up and just walked away. This thread has already made my wallet quite a bit lighter!

I am really happy with the GW 20pc set though! I had a desperate need for a full set of ratcheting wrenches, and the tray they come in will help keep me organized!

Just have to add this. I just received my second order from http://aktoolsonline.com/ and they are outstanding as far as pricing and overall service. Just bought the 5pc Softfinish Wiha set for $21.33. Shipping for me is normally $5 priority mail. I have never seen better Knipex prices anywhere.

It IS the January issue front cover looks like this.

The magazine is $5.99 tho so depending on how much you want to save. A few dollars doesn't add up spending $6 on the magazine.

Check barber shop, doctors office, etc for copy and cut it out. I asked first and she said take complete magazine it you want.

This may have already been discussed further back in this thread but is there a code to get around the 5.99 shipping on the WIHA hex sets from Sears??

Craftsman Job Vise -- $69.99!

Went to my local Sears store this morning to buy this Craftsman Job Vise, advertised for $99.99 on sale (regularly $139.99)

http://www.craftsman.com/shc/s/p_10...yword=job+vise&prdNo=1&blockNo=1&blockType=L1

When I have my clerk my Craftsman Club card, it knocked $20 off the price. Then, I received an additional $10 Sears gift card! That certainly was a nice Christmas surprise.

The Craftsman Job Vise doesn't get the same high praise that the similar Rockwell unit does, but at the sale price it's about 1/3 the price of the Rockwell model that's large enough to clamp 4' sheets of plywood. Hard to go wrong at this price.

I got a set as well and i really like them. Did anyone else notice that the metric set large sizes are not labeled on the holder?

they are labeled, just not painted. Look closely near the top and you will a raised 10, 8 etc.

I got mine, I'm completely astonished with the quality. They're incredibly nice feeling, not a single noticable flaw, incredible quality all around. Even the holders are durable and nice feeling in the hand. A must have for any mechanic. You won't need more than one set of these.

FYI, Grainger customer service says my ratchets are ready for pickup at my local store. Hmm. No credit card charge yet. Perhaps they do that when I pick them up?

Or I am being set up for major disappointment..

We'll see next week..

LOL Damm that's pretty cool. Thanks,
A bit off topic, but,
I used to like Felix the Cat when I was a kid, here he is for .88 cents on DVD but it's out of stock.
They have Popeye for .88cents too, but out of stock.

Edit,
I put Felix the Cat in anyways , they will send it when they get it in, but I got the free shipping.
Thanks for the link though, I am sure I will use it again.
