Made me feel I was in my twenties. Didn't need my glasses!
I think his first link meant to go here:

If you want to order that level, maybe take a look at following one at lowes:

My local loews was a no go.
My local loews was a no go.
I received my WIHA order today and I have to say that everything looks pretty good... except for the high leverage cutters and the push button plumber's pliers.
The high leverage cutters that were part of the Monday sale are tight and will work very well, but the chroming was poorly done. When the jaws are opened, they expose large areas that look like they either weren't chromed or at a minimum cleaned up. They're large black areas that look almost burnt.
The push button pliers are supposed to be the pro-line, but they're really loose and it looks like one of the soft grip handles wasn't installed all the way.
Wiha's old professional line (329xx series) is definitely nicer than the new stuff that they have. They're chromed, polished and very tight, and they happen to be the ones that aren't made in Vietnam.
Would I buy them again... probably not most of them, especially not directly from Wiha. Some research now that I've received them has shown that even the sale prices are higher than a few places online (carbideprocessors.com as an example). And other online sites have a satisfaction guarantee. Wiha states no returns on any sale items. I don't think Wiha has the same standards that they used to now that they're having everything made in SROV.
I didn't see that Fatmax on sale in my local store either. I think they had that one but it was labelled full price (not sure what it would have actually rang up at). They did have a Lufkin tape on sale for a couple $ off.
If you buy at the store its 19.98, if you buy online its $4.98.

An ok deal but really who uses a 16ft tape, its either too long or too short? IMHO. Looked at that cross form wrench deal too and while the chrome plating was nice, they didn't find their way into my cart and they had a ton of them too.I bought online and at the store, they were both $4.98 and they were locally in those promotional bins in the middle of the aisle.
Same here. It is NOT the regular 16' fatmax you find in the tool aisle. It is in a blister pack with a Fatmax utility knife in the 'holiday specials' area that they have going on now (all the $10, $20, etc signs).
However, the sign on the crate will say $15, but will ring up $5.

Looked online, and it says that my getto lowes does not have them in stock. This lowes *****, it never has the deals you guys post. Maybe it needs a new manager.

The knife *****... don't feel bad.
LMAO - so you've attempted to put a blade in. The process is laugh-out-loud crazy. Grab the blade and push it in to the front of the knife until it locks. Or until it gashes your hand/fingers. Unbelievably poor design.
The sad thing is, once you get a blade in there it is a nice utility knife - but my God, what a fatal flaw.
You are pushing the black blade release button opposite the "lock", right?

It still ***** for installing the blades.

I don't think HOLIDAYJOY will give $15 off $100 for tools, just free shipping. At least I couldn't get it to give me any dollars off on the tools in my cart.
ive used my komelon tape for the last year and it is starting to not lock up anymore.

+1
and pretty sure that it actually says $15 off $100 OR free shipping
