Was this one mentioned already? Looks like it could be a good deal? I wonder how this compares to the HF 5 drawer service cart. It doesn't have a pop up lid, but does seem to have more of the space as storage drawers rather than an open space at the bottom.

Craftsman 5-Drawer Powered Basic Project Center - Black $99.99

Saw this CM, or one extremely similar, at local Sears before Thanksgiving. It does not compare to the HF 5 drawer if weight capacity of drawers is any concern. CM is also a good foot shorter and more of an end-table size storage container on wheels. CM had a plastic top with a wood-like-product work surface which might offer some corrosion protection (reaching for some positives) but non-bearing slides and thin drawers that felt very light duty. CM might be good for a specific application and if so it is a good price. I don't think it compares to the very well built but more expensive HF 5 drawer which at more than 2X the price is really an unfair comparison. Harbor Freight is too expensive to be compared to Craftsman. Typing that felt wrong.

I have that same CM setup at home - had it about 5 years. We also bought 2 of the HF 5 drawer carts at work.

I would love to get rid of my CM and get the HF cart for home. No comparison in quality. Nothing wrong with the CM cart for $100. But if the CM cart is a hot deal for $100, the HF cart is freaking plasma hot for $160. I occasionally use the outlets it has in it. But that also means you have to have your cart plugged in which makes it tougher to move around.

The more I think about it, unless you can't possibly swing the extra $60 for the HF cart, there's no reason to get the CM cart. The HF cart is seriously THAT good.

Hitachi top handle arborist type 32cc chain saw for $169.99 + shipping, YMMV, from Sears Outlet. My price shipped was $189.18. Read the post before you decide to buy this.

Here is the link to Sears Outlet:
http://www.searsoutlet.com/d/product_details.jsp?pid=69584&mode=buyNewOnly&sid=IDx20110411x000001&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=N69584
This is a very good saw for homeowner type limb pruning and trimming. Purely in my opinion it compares to some entry level pro-saws but falls short of the Stihl ms200T.
I watched the price of this for the last 6 months while Hitachi had a $30 rebate offer on it, which has since expired, to get it below $200. I stumbled on the Sears Outlet offering and ordered but they canceled before it shipped. I ordered it again and used some Sears Your Rewards Points (SYRP) I had to lessen the chance it would be canceled again, figuring the extra paperwork to void the sale MIGHT help, and it arrived last month. It was new in the factory box which had a dent in the side. It has a very good bar included but the chain is of the safety skipped link variety and not ideal IMO. Hitachi now makes/owns Tanaka and sells the same saw re-badged in orange for them.
Here are links to the Hitachi and Tanaka on Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/Hitachi-CS33ET14-14-Inch-2-Stroke-Compliant/dp/B003JTGNNC/ref=sr_1_3?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1324590732&sr=1-3
http://www.amazon.com/Tanaka-TCS-3301PFS-14-2-Stroke-Compliant/dp/B0038TU02I/ref=sr_1_4?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1324590732&sr=1-4
Family members asked about the saw so I just checked on it and it is still listed for the same price. Your order might go through without paying with SYRP's but mine didn't. Your order might get canceled even with the SYRP's but mine didn't.
I think this is a very good price for this saw. I registered mine for the full 7 year consumer warranty with no problem but you might want to check on who services local to you for future maintenance. If not for my limited use for this type of saw I definitely would have gone with the Stihl ms200T because my local Stihl outfit is outstanding, all my other saws are older Stihl pro models, but the best price they could give me was $500. For over $300 savings this is a great deal, IMO.
I am located in Missouri if it would happen to matter for this deal.

I could not agree more. I didn't know it was back down to $160 range but with all the different coupons and club deals HF sends out it is hard to keep up. For $60 dollars there is no comparison. CM might be good for storing fly-fishing type material inside the house though.

well, I saw that there was one of the CM pro USA sets in a town near where my brother lives. Called him up and asked, "Do you have any plans on going to Modesto anytime soon?" His answer?

"I'm there right now!"

niiiiice...he picked them up 10min ago. USA branded. Very cool.

This thread strikes my wallet again..

Ridgid wet/dry vac model wd1450 for $46 shipped.

http://www.amazon.com/ProVac-Wet-Dry-Vacuums-wd1450/dp/B004FCLCKQ?SubscriptionId=AKIAJ7T5BOVUVRD2EFYQ&tag=camels-20&linkCode=xm2&camp=2025&creative=165953&creativeASIN=B004FCLCKQ

This might be another of the recent Amazon third party pricing errors but the seller has decent feedback.
I forgot to cancel a price alert after I bought a new 16 gallon version over Thanksgiving but this model was one I was considering.
Here is a link to the same model at Home Depot for $99:

Sorry for the multiple YMMV type posts today but if this works for you it is a good deal.

Im pretty sure they would have caught it either if 20 guys bought 1 or one guy bought 20. That or they simply ran out.

The deal ended when they sold their quantity limit, as people bought them their IN STOCK : ** amount went down. So theres still an unlikely but small chance of it going through.

It'd would of been nicer for 20 guys to get a chance at one, than one guy getting a chance at 20.

This isn't the hottest of deals but the best price I could find on this work light.

Cooper Lighting LED130 Might-D-Light LED Rechargeable Folding Worklight w/ AC & DC charging adapters. 80 LED lights.

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Cooper-Li...-Worklight-w-AC-DC-charging-adapters/14678364

They are out of stock online, but I bought one today in my local walmart for $29.97. Most of the other places i've seen them they are $35+. This is the same one Sears has rebranded craftsman for $45 on sale right now.

All the reviews i've seen are pretty good and it's super bright. Figured i'd pass it along if any one is in the market for a new work light like me.

These felt solid, but the battery life was a turn off for me.

I'm not sure what the real battery life is, they claim 2 hours, which is good enough for me. But I'm just a DIY guy not a professional.

I would have almost like it better if it had been corded.

Craftsman 5-Drawer Powered Basic Project Center - Black $99.99

I have this. It's passable as a useful storage box, friction slides that don't slide very well, cheapo mdf top. I received it as a gift and for that, I'm glad. It comes with a little 3-outlet power strip which quickly found a home elsewhere.

the cart is useful, as storage. But after looking at the carts at Harbor Freight, you can do a lot better for a little more.

My 2¢. Hope it helps!

FYI on the grainger ratchet deal. I ordered one for will call pickup/pay at the closest store........

My point being if I had not called, the order may have sat in limbo forever. So if you cannot access your order status online and especially if you have it will-called, you might want to give them a call.

Or send their customer service dept an email- I asked them why they had responded via email 2 weeks after I placed the confirmed order telling me they were out of stock and I knew others were still receiving theirs? I sent the email last week, received a prompt response that my order was being reopened and would ship 12/30, and today the 1/2 ratchet and 1/2 long flex ratchet (new model) showed up. The invoice reflects the TG week discounted price of ~$16 each. After a little SuperLube the ratchet action feels a LOT better, both had very little to no oil inside. GREAT deal and I am glad it seems Grainger has improved their customer service for the little people

you just said why you dont reach for those; you work on mazdas
the jis or jin(iirc) standards for japanese cars specify bolt heads; usually using 10,12,14,17 etc
on american cars i think its called ansi; specifying 10,13,15,18 etc
on euro cars its different again

It's actually only about 6 inches shorter, but includes way more drawer space in cubic inches.

It's a killer cart for $110. The HF costs a minimum of $50 more, but has way less space, and is missing the work surface and outlet strip of the craftsman.

That being said, the HF's roller bearing and closeable lid, and the obvious weight difference points to the strength difference as well.
