Aaaaand I struck out again. Couldn't find 'em.![]()

just got the last cart at home depot in delran,nj...only had the floor model left so i got 10% off...$95 out the door.this is a very nice cart and well worth the price.the casters are unbeleivalble too.mine came with drawer liners already in it too....i may search around for a couple more
Can anyone confirm whether this deal will be fulfilled with USA or China?
where was the cart at in the store? i just went to the one in cherry hill but couldnt find it anywhere although on the inventory status page it says they have 2

just kiddingThoughts on the carts from HD? Considering driving to another local one tomorrow in hopes of finding two. Building workbench in which these would slide under for storage, then working on something they could be rolled out to double the table top space.
Are they worth my trouble, time and money?
The wheels and casters alone on these carts is worth $99 for 4, IMHO.
How can anyone know? This deal was just active this morning, you realize. It will be several days before anyone knows.
Lisle 12 pc. Torx Bit Set 27200 on sale at sears for $14.99
Ran across this at the store this evening and it is the cheapest online by at least $5 and $20 off what sears usually charges.

Craftsman Professional Chinese Knock off Wilton Vise, $119 or less, see this link
http://www.sears.com/craftsman-professional-4-1-2-in-bench-vise/p-00951888000P
Gets great reviews here and is supposed to be an almost exact copy of the Wilton 1745. YMMV Picking up mine tomorrow after work.
Those are the Chinese ones with the double O rings-- part no's 33442 (I saw these a few weeks back showing up on clearance line)
The USA ones are part no 44992

Well that's a disappointment. I just got the shipping email and it looks like they are the Chinese ones. Oh well, if that's the case, they will be going back.

p.s how do you the items you listed are made in the usa?
The model number doesn't mean they're made in China. Model 33442 and 44992 are the same sets. I'm not sure if the model numbers are the same as they were, but one set was always only in stock in-store, and another set was always only in stock online. The online-only had an $80 list, the in-store only had a $100 list.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Thanks for the clarification.
Rumor on another post was that HD had channellock crimpers for $9. I didn't see that as it was at the regular $19+ price.
However, the fencing pliers were $13. I think they're regularly close to $30,

They very might well still be made in China. A couple of GJers spotted the new batch of ratchets. There's no telling who's getting new stock and who's getting USA-made stock.
My guess is that Sears is seeking to eliminate one of the SKUs in favor of a single in-store and online package. Or maybe they're just trying to boost sales whichever way they can. Who knows.
A couple of years ago they clearanced the same ratchets but with 80th anniversary markings.
My guess is the different SKUs between in-store and online are to avoid having to price match the online price... *******!

for those who ordered the cman thin profile ratchets, I just got my shipping confirmation. and they are shipping mine from Hodgkins IL. Lets hope they have some usa made ones!!!
I ordered mine 2 day shipping so ups is quoting me wednesday (2/1/12) so ill post COO
also i noticed they have them for sale again under product numbers Sears Item# 00944992000 | Model# 44992
and the ones everyone ordered are product number Sears Item# 00933442000 | Model# 33442
so my guess/hope the ones being shipped out are USA COO
I am one of them, at one of my 3 local Sears, actually one of the ones that is closing, the thin profile ratchets have all gone to China and a few of the raised panel ones as well. I have been looking to upgrade a few of my ratchets, thinking about Armstrong MAXX, but I'll probably hang on to my Craftsmans for my son someday, he's only 5 months, but I plan on teaching him the value of Made in USA.
Oh, man, you're evilI wouldn't keep them, I would buy the set in my local store for $100 and return the Chinese ones. Haha.

The thin profile ratchets and all the other fully polished ratchets are made in Taiwan, not China. I'm not counting the premium 84 tooth ratchets. I think they're still USA made.
Interesting. I wonder if the personalized ones from China come inscribed with Chinese letters or English?Oh, man, you're evil
Currently on their website you can buy the 3-pc set on sale for 89.99, or you can get the 3-pc set, personalized, on sale for .. 89.99. Both $10 off. ??

A follow up to these two posts:
I went to NAPA today and purchased a NS67 and it was indeed Made In USA. Not old stock either; manufactured date of August 22, 2011.
EDIT:
Forgot to mention the selector switch is metal.
YMMV on this, but my local sears (Citadel Mall, Charleston, SC) has the 260pc Mechanics tool sets on clearance for $105.97, which is an amazing price to me. These are the ones that come in the black plastic 3 drawer chest. There were 8 or so there. I had to pass, I'm up to my ears in sockets and stuff because of this site...COO on these is unknown, forgot to check![]()
