Got my 3/8 inch module from Sears today. Pleased to say ALL tools are marked "USA." I'll have a follow up on Monday with the 1/2 and 1/4 modules.

Regarding the 299 piece socket set: It was less than $300 about a month ago. It only stayed there a few days. Add shipping and it was just over $300. That's why I said with free shipping low-$300 is a decent, but not the best deal.

Sweet thanks. I'll keep my eyes out for under 3

I'm sure someone must have posted this already... so sorry if this is a duplicate... however just in case anyone missed it

the irwin vice grip deal....

http://www1.mscdirect.com/CGI/NNPDFF?PMCTLG=08&PMPAGE=1&cm_re=tpnv-_-splof-_-supsv

it's out of stock but their website will let you order it and put you on backorder

also ... use the coupon code EXPMSC3 to ensure you don't get shipping charges (not sure if shipping was going to be charged, but if you use that code, i know it isn't)

Anyone know how long they price match? Got mine 2 or 3 weeks ago for $280, dropped to $250 the following day and had them do the price match after they recommended it. Of course I would have to find my receipt to try again.

NVM, Google search says 14 days, so I am sure the $250 deal was over 14 days ago.

Down to $199. now.

well... seeing they are irwin... i'm thinking they are US made (but i don't know for sure)

They're definitely NOT USA made, unless the sets are old stock.

I don't think Irwin really has any USA made tools anymore. All the pliers and everything I've looked at are imported. Also, Vise Grips are no longer made in the USA,

well I'm sure they're not old stock... so I guess I'm getting the chinese stuff... still I can never have too many vice grips and at that price... this will work for me

2. oh no, i don't have a place for all these tools....
3. oh wow, good deal on tool box! i *need* one to hold all my tools...
4. oh wow, good deal on tools,... i guess i have space in my toolbox... buy,buy,buy..
5. oh no, my tool box is full... i *need* another or bigger tool box...

Found this link for 5% off selected items at sears from dealdigg:
http://www.sears.com/?sid=IAx20090224x000001

http://www.dealigg.com/story-sears-coupons-sears-coupon-code-printable-coupon

Took 5% off the cheap tool bag and Motorcycle jack I bought. So its an alternative to the $5 off $50 Sears2012 coupon code for orders over $100. Not sure of the actual code, but the link applied it to my cart.

Which I used to buy the the Craftsman Professional 1500lb Motorcycle/ATV Jack for $145 which I thought was a pretty fair deal:
http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00950191000P?prdNo=2&blockNo=2&blockType=G2

Reviews are good, and its cheaper than the HF aluminum option.
