Canadian guys, princess auto has free shipping online at the moment until the 18th I believe.

Got my 40" breaker bar for $21 + taxes shipped for free.

http://www.princessauto.com/pal/pro...-in.-dr-x-40-in.-Jumbo-Mechanics'-Breaker-Bar

Retails in US for $50:

http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200328359_200328359

I was able to get one ordered yesterday but still have the following status. If anyone's status changes please post to the board:

Order Status: Processing

I emailed customer service, my order still says "processing" today, this was the response:

The system shows your order is processing. Standard shipping time is 5-7 business days. You will receive an email with tracking information once the order has shipped which should be Monday, March 12th 2012.

Thank you,
Suzanne

amazing deal at some lowes I cant seem to pull it up on their site but they are getting rid of Crick levels. Heres a link to amazon.
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0006MQ2OA/?tag=atomicindus08-20

The 48" is on sale from $120.00 to $47.00
the 42" from $100.00 to $38.00
and 24" from $90 to $33.00

These are rounded off to what I can remember. Give or take a few bucks.
I dont have the receipt in front of me, but will post prices later.

I bought every last one they had and sending them off to my brother who does masonry work.

Worth running down to lowes and checking to see if they have any in stock. They are also clearing out all W.rose Kraft tools stuff.

All below %50 off. Huge score for anyone who lays brick for a living.

I almost bought 1 of everything for myself at that price but couldnt justify it....

This is not an exclusive deal. They just have a coupon code with their name in it. There is a $35 off $85 advance auto coupon code on this facebook page though. Another member made a link to the site a few pages ago.

Thanks for that... I wonder if you have the other codes that provide the same discounts as the "retmenot123" code. The other ones I found were only $10 off $30 and $20 off $100, but not the $20 off $50.

BTW, their other current promotion code "MA30" which gets you $20 off $100+ purchase, plus a $50 coupon off a future $100+ purchase (online only). That sounds big, but only equates to a 35% or less discount (overall) versus the "retmenot123" which gets you 40% off a $50 purchase and the "ccabin" which would get you 40% off a $100 purchase.

Main catch I see with the $50 off future purchase is that is the only discount that would apply to the future purchase, and AAP has done that before with a no prior purchase required code for $50 off.

AAP almost always worth checking, but look at the real bottom line price as there prices often start out higher than most places.

First, you start a 21 page thread about giving away polished turds, now you come back to pimp the polished turds.

1. You aren't a vendor, so hopefully your post gets deleted
2. Stop using this forum as free advertising

Craftsman club deals start today. The 3 piece pry bar set is back down to $19.99. I know some people were upset they missed it last time.

I might have to go buy these. I have a $10 off $30 or more coupon sears sent me for my birthday. Kind of wish it was just a $10 off your purchase coupon!

I ranted and raved in that thread and gave up after my posts were buried by "ill take free **** while you get free advertising from GJ" LINK

I thought he was a vendor with that post. Im surprised it was not removed. The mod's are really lax on this site. Thats both a good and bad thing.

I purposely stay away from certain threads and even sections. I never post in the HVAC section anymore, even though I have 25yrs HVAC exp., because there are some jerkoff know it all's that do not even do HVAC that want to argue with you about things they dont even know about. Theres one guy,in particular, that argued with eveything I said. He posted pictures of his garage heater install that was a total hack job. I would have been ashamed to post the pictures he did.

30 piece Bondhus is $22.64 on Amazon with free super saver shipping. And they're made in the USA.
I have a set of these. They are very durable and Made in the USA.

But, that's no secret, everyone knows Bondhus rocks :rocker:

Every Allen tool I've owned didn't hold up. I would be incredibly surprised if this has changed.

Dumping your promo into the Hot Deals thread is self-serving, and in my opinion a low budget attempt at guerrilla marketing.

This thread is for folks who actually use tools to share deals that might benefit us all without regard for personal profit.

I will buy the Bondhus set because of it being made in the USA. When given the choice, I will go with the USA tool everytime, for even 3x the money. So whoever is posting for Allen, pass the word along. I can buy the chinese **** at HF all day long.

Unfortunetly if the rest of America agreed with you Walmart and Home Dope wouldnt be hawking 95% chinese goods.

As far as the Allen rep goes some of you need to lean over to one side and pull the underwear out of your butts. No need to spend an entire page insulting and berating the guy. Dont like his deal? Dont buy it. Pretty damn simple.

I must have missed something on here because when I went to buy the breaker bar it cost more to ship than to buy the item. So I ended up canceling.

Re: Rhino Ramps, should they only be used two at a time or is it possible to get all four wheels up on them?

I bought my first set of Rhino Ramps about 15 years ago and found that they worked well for most but not all of my cars due to height. My solution was to cut a 2x4 with angle cuts on both ends to use as helper ramps, once the car is on the helper ramp it pushes the ramp stopper down as well:

I've heard of people driving up with the front wheels and then jacking up the back and putting another set under the rear, but doesn't sound safe to me.

Only way to drive up would be with very high clearance vehicle, pickup maybe.

You mean like this?
IMG_2392.JPG

Let see, a rhino ramp at each wheel and a jack stand at each corner. Look pretty safe to me.

I would not use all four rhino at each wheel itself without jack stand b/c the rhino platform is small and if there is any chance of the wheel rolling off the ramp, you are good as toast. If the rhino platform were bigger to give you a place to add a wheel choke it would be nice. Better safe than sorry I guess.
