I have been surprised at what sells and what doesn't. I never get there at the time they start, as I hate waiting in lines, so I may miss the super cheap things. But it really depends on what things are priced at. Most companies are pretty good at spotting the Snap-on, Craftsman and they are starting to see what Proto is worth. They price that stuff higher, but most will miss the older or not as famous tools. But, if there is a lot of stuff, they might miss those things entirely. Or, they might not be good at dealing with shop stuff.
I was at a sale not to long ago done by a company that I don't think knows anything about pricing tools, and I was right. I found Snap-on ratchets mixed in with ordinary stuff and priced cheap. But you had to dig for it. Then again, I usually pass on the sales they have as they focus on ****, in my opinion.
