For that kind of money you could buy used Snap On. I bought my 84" Epiqfor 4500, I'm guessing you could find a decent deal on a decent sized Epiqwith lockers for 8400.

No you can't, you're are not buying a new Snap On roll cab with a hutch SS top and two side lockers for $8,400, maybe $16,000.

Actually after my 20% discount, I was all in for $6700. Be hard to by used snap on in a comparable configuration for that kind of money

Did I say new?

No but I was comparing apples to apples. A used Snap On at a cost point that can compared to a new ICON is still hard to find. People selling used professional boxes think that have gold in their garage. Asking prices seem to run around 3/4 the cost of new.

There are some deals to be had if someone is ready to jump and travel, on FB Marketplace there is a 72" "Never Used" KLR7023APCM2 Roll Cab and KLR7972APCM Hutch for $6,500. Pretty good deal, MSRP on Snap On website for like item is $20K.

So on Sunday, there I was. Messing around in the garage, was working on a stool and needed to remove cushion. It was stuck so i climb up on the foot rail and gave her a hard yank and it came out causing me to lose my balance, fell forward and a drawer on my ICON locker stopped my fall right below the eye.image.jpg
I hope you heal quickly.

I'll shoot you pic after work or in the morning. Basic setup is primarily for Pneumatic nail guns and crown staplers on the shelves with all associated nails and staples, Hammers in 2 of the drawers. The last drawer I keep speed squares romex cutters, 200 foot tape measures etc.. Once I get the other other one I plan to store my airless paint sprayer and associated paint, caulking guns, sand paper and the like in that one.

Thanks for sharing @MIke.Gradoz you gave me an idea! One of my big drawers is full air tools I don't use much if at all since I started using battery stuff. I may put them and my hammers innthe locker and free up drawer space.

I'm also eyeing a new welder cart to get some of that stuff outta my box too.

I'm still super happy with the choice. I'll probably get the stainless top someday though.

Your welcome, I also have several air tools that get no airtime anymore, got them in the kobalt along with other **** I don’t use. I have a Hobart 140 rancher (mig)with a cart, but I keep it out with my detached shop that stores my boat. Still trying to figure out all the welding vice/grips magnets. Do I leave them on the cart or put them in the 73”.leaning toward leaving them on the cart as I have no use for them unless I’m welding.

I'll have to snag some pics of my layout.

Yeah I wanted the top initially but waited, at first I really liked the black rubber top, but I think I'm gonna hate cleaningnit I'm used to stainless work surfaces.

@MIke.Gradoz here is my layout. Have 3 empty draweres currently, but I have a lot of clamps for body panel work that will go in there.

I'm thinking of shuffling hammers and air tools into the locker after seeing how you did yours.

Looks good! It sure is nice having the extra room. I have about 90% of my tools in the ICON, the other (Kobalt) is 60% full but mostly duplicates and air tools.

Hey, get well soon, hopefully no eye problems. Do the drawers open to full extension? Do the drawers
open with minimal effort? I've had problems with mine since day one. 15 months old.
Do you have a HF ICON phone number or email contact for someone in management?
Thanks.

I had to pull them out hard as well, which to me seems odd. The top drawer comes out an angle, one corner is 'stuck'.
The HF branch I use (Orange, Ca.) is hit and miss on service. I have adjusted the drawers, watched the Youtube vid etc.
The drawer on the lower right with the compartment for screw gun storage is a real bear to open.
If you can get me the contact info that would be great. I am on the road for a couple of weeks of vacation and will
be back 1 May.
You have a great storage solution for your shop and it looks great.
Thanks
Warren
