Are there any Garages out there that are NOT Red, Black & White or Red, Gray & White or Blue, Gray & White on the interior walls?
I was at the paint store and had to walk away from doing my traditional Red, Black & White but couldnt pull the trigger on any other colors. So my garage sits...Walls, primed in white primer & the ceiling finished in a nice flat white finished coat.

Please someone post up some pics.

Thanks!

only color you need is white, its a shop, white reflect light, or just plain plywood tan

My garage make-over was done very low budget... partly because we're in a rental, and mostly that's my nature.
So, I used some leftover interior paint that is a very pale green... like a mint color, but not as "bright" as mint. It has a more aged vintage look that goes well with the 60+ age of the house. I certainly brightened up the garage once applied to the flat-black drywall!

Thanks!! I searched and couldnt really find a dedicated thread.:(

How about hot pink? Certainly different. Or lime green.

As I see Black, Red & White on a daily basis, I was looking for something different...

I can see the logic of this. But it also calls to mind when my Prius-driving wife tells me that the only thing a car needs to do is get you from point A to point B with good air conditioning and good gas mileage.

She's right -- but I also believe there's something to be said for improving the experience of a car, and having it do something that's technically impressive, and looking cool, and beating up on everybody else who came out to the track that day.

So yeah, her Prius gets the job done. But when I can make a passenger throw up three times in the course of one lap, well...

It's not exactly the same as a garage, which is more of a tool than it is a toy. But you get my point. I think a garage's primary function is to facilitate building/fixing things. But it can also have a little 'soul' to it while it does that.

I’m in the same dilemma with trying to decide on a color scheme for my garage. I’d like some color, but still need to be able to see enough to be functional. Good luck.
