Of course, HF might have changed suppliers or something. .
Mine are from China, dug up the package last night.
The point I was trying to make is they are not sharpened well, it is crude.
You should not see grind marks on the clearance area, two the cutting edge is not straight. Look at a good drill bit, not a cheap HF one, you will notice a difference.
I am afraid to use them in a critical situation.
I bought the deburring bits and I was using the small one, same company. It deburred 20 holes in Aluminum before it fell apart and I was doing it by hand not using a power tool.
I have learned two things about HF they have mostly **** that is designed to fail in a short period of time. & there loyal followers have no idea what a good tool is they are happy to save money and have a toolbox filled with junk.
