Thought with all the snow lately I would be tired of seeing white....NOT!

IONH - I am not sure what it would be in the U.S., but for everything done minus electrical I am figuring $50,000, but 90% was contracted out, and there was some landscaping done as well on the pad fees..(had my driveway widened around my existing garage to make access to the back easier.
curious, no electrical runs for outlets and lights? you will be kickin yourself later... whats your plans?

There is a final payment required at the completion of build...I think I'll let them call me at least two times (with no reply) requesting payment prior to sending it in...LOLThen maybe I'll forget to sign the cheque....

Last payment is closer to 25%...plenty enough to do the door and attic insulation myself if it comes to it!
Well called the salesman again today as I was told on Monday the insulation and overhead door companies were to show up Tuesday, neither did, he said the insulation company was supposed to be here first thing this morning, but they did show up around 11 and said repairs were done well...did their job in just over 2 hours, very professional and cleaned up everything after they were done.
Apparently the overhead door company is coming either tomorrow or Saturday.
Still no mention as to when the window is coming.
He also said during our conversation he had an appointment in the area and asked if I would mind him coming by to see the progress, I said no problem...he never showed...LOL.

Funny thing...went to go out for dinner last night...wife gets home at 4, we left at 5, went to open the door and an envelope drops out from the contracting company saying now the installers are coming Friday.
What was in the envelope you ask? My final bill! Stating final monies is owing as soon as door is installed.
They are sure quick to bill but not too quick with customer service.
Got to love those "low bidders".
