Received a call from Mr. XXXXXXX and it seems that he is still not happy with his door. It is deflecting at least inch an a half to two inches the only way we are going to fix this in my opinion is to install a stiffening strut at the top of door.
This will push the door back into original position and also solve the problem with the weather stripping that we will also have to change. When we were there earlier we pushed the weather stripping tight to the door exposing the wood framing at the top jamb of the door this weather stripping was not changed and still has holes in it with no screws. If you could let me know when we could get this taken care of.

Hello XXXX,
I am not sure who would be in charge at both Olympic and XXXXXXX but I think they should both be in attendance at my shop when the discussion as to what to do about my doors and other issues which have appeared are discussed. I would like it talked about, plan of action decided, and appointment for follow up made all at one time as it has been a year and a half since Olympic decided all work was done warranting my final payment, which I made immediately even with discrepancies present. I believe I have been more than patient, and if these terms cannot be met, I believe I will need to take further action.
I await your reply, please do so in writing.
Their reply May 25 2012;
I forwarded your email to XXXXXXX doors if they do not respond within a timely fashion I will get another door company to come out and install the strut at there cost in response to your man door issue I will have XXXX come out early next week to install a weatherstrip on your T8 door he can do this from the outside of your building so there will be no need for you to let us in if this is all rite with you let me know
Thanks
My reply May 25 2012;
XXXX,
I am thinking the strut may not be the only issue with the overhead door, the previous repairer unnecessarily drilled numerous holes in the top of my door which another company stated could affect the integrity of the door. As well, the new weatherstripping hits my ceiling lights (something not checked by the second installer). Also I noticed a couple of broken bolts that were left in the door with no new ones added (original installer issue).*There is also the issue of the outside weatherstripping on the overhead door. The top is supposed to be replaced, which was agreed upon in the past, but there is still light/air penetration on the sides that has not been addressed.
And for the passage door, I am unsure if I agree with the extra weather stripping, I would like to see what is being proposed prior to decisions just being made without input on my behalf being provided. And the trim under the passage door looks as if it was held in place with silicone which has now let go, and the metal is pulling away from the building.
I would like this job done once and for all, this is why I suggested a meeting with all parties prior to just moving ahead. I would also like to be present for all repairs regardless if entry to the building is required or not, again to ensure all issues are taken care of.

So after no reply again...I got a surprise call today, a week and a half later asking if the overhead door company could go to my house today and work on my door, I said I will be there after 4, he said they can't come that late, then he asked if I would leave the door open for them for tomorrow, I said I will be home after 4, then he said he will have to get back to me, so I sent the following;
XXXX,
I am not sure if you got this from a week ago or not, but as you never replied, and from the phone call this morning asking for the building to be left unlocked and not confirming any other work other than the overhead door, I have resent the email for clarification.
