I figured everyone has to have a nice beer fridge in the garage, so lets see them.

I'll start. Our garage recently had a big regular white fridge, but i figured we could upgrade so my brother and i put this one together for my dad.

It's a 1947.

Here is my 1948 Hotpoint. It still gets colder than any fridge I have ever seen. Custom paint is in the near future...

Here is my fridge, It is an early 30's GE, still keeps everything ice cold. It's on the porch right where any self respecting kentuckian would keep it. I'll have to find another cool one to put in the garage when I get it finished.

Mine isn't a Kegerator or a neat classic, but I think it's a gret fridge and frezer for a garage environment. No issues with thawing in the freezer since they are seperate units. These are the Frigidaire commercial units. The casters make it nice to pull out for cleaning.

My wife got me this one for Christmas. It is now stocked, but I must get some stickers to dress it up a bit.

I plan to stack mine full of Dr. Peppers, when I get it restored. I sold this one, on CL.
I bought it for $25 from some old people up the street, and lugged it around for a couple
of years before selling it for $80. The smaller one next to it, I still have, and got for free
from a grandmother. I will be restoring that one, and keeping it. I just moved it again,
this weekend, and just about gave myself a hernia loading it.

I started a very small company several years ago making garage refrigerators called Tough Stuff Appliances that I have since sold, but it might give you guys a few simple ideas to make your old fridge stand out. I would strip the fridges down, sand, tape, mask and paint them with hi quality automotive paint. Starting out I was using rustoleum red out of a can and shot it with my LPHV gun and it was just as nice as using the pricey automotive paint. I then added aluminum tread plate on the doors. Here are a few pictures of what can be done to mini fridges and larger fridges to make them stand out.

Sadly the guy who purchased the business from me went out of business. :(

Picked Up a Small Philco by Ford "Pinto" Mini Fridge to fit under my Work Bench and Moved my Larger Fridge Downstairs right next to my Bar.

I love The size and look of the Philco Fridge.
It even has a Small freezer, big enough for ice cubes or fast chill of cold beverages!

Funny I just got back from Florida only to find out somebody turned the heat off in my garage while I was gone? Wife/Mom:mad: Went to have a coke tonight and found that 2 of the cans blew up in there making a horrible mess:mad:And one of them was in the dispencer on the door and when it expanded it cracked the dispencer:mad:. They wanted to know why this happened because they didnt touch any settings on the fridge:headscrat

This a LG fridge we got for the house just a couple years ago. Before long we realized the side-by-side just wasn't right for us. The garage was being built so we put it out here and got a new over-under for the house.
