67carl one more for you.

Here's Keno, my shop buddy. Adopted about three weeks ago, looks like a mastiff but he's not (saw pics of both parents.) Apparently mom was rescued from a kennel out in the snow while pregnant and along he came to use a little after. Great dog.

This is scroopie (screwpie, scroopee?), she was named after a Pokemon by a nine year old. We got her when she was 3.5, she's about 4 now. She's a German Shepherd/Standard Poodle mix, known to some as a Shepadoodle, and to the purists as a mutt.

She loves my shop area, there are lots of vermin in there for her to hunt. Well, there used to be lots, she's pretty good at it.

This is my shop dog. She came from the pet rescue about 4 years ago. She is a Carolina Dingo, and half screw ball. The previous people beat her till her hip was fractured, so she lives the good life now.

It's funny, my friends give me **** when I roll up and she is sitting shotgun in my new LTZ, but she is a major part of the family and family rides up front....

Great dogs! And an extra  for those of you who rescued them! I've posted some rules below in case this is you're first dog.

Merlin, shelter rescue, named for color and ability to disappear at will, he was about to die because of Flea Fever. Linda called and said "I'm bringing a dog home for you." Then informed me she leaving for an out of town engagement for 7 days and I needed to make sure he got his meds and ate. She didn't tell me he was about to die. We had the vet out that same day and Linda left the next day. He wouldn't eat to start with. I found he would eat Bright Leaf brand hotdogs with his meds in them after trying the meds wrapped in cheese. He pulled through. He never would really herd the sheep unless there was a real purpose, like they got out of the sheep pasture. He lived a good life with me for about 4 years until his liver/kindeys failed from his previous illness.

Another shot of him in the kitchen.

This is Astro with my Giant Schnauzer named Rex. They have their own bedroom in the summer with a portable AC unit to keep it 68 deg, neither of them like the hot weather.

Then new addition.

Loves to hang out. Kind of hard to change your oil with a puppy on your chest. She seems to want to be in the mix all of the time.

Well, she hasn't made it into the garage or shop yet (neither have I since bypass surgery), but we added this 2 year old female Rottweiler to the family last week. She and Payton are getting along great.

Here's our Border Collie helping out in the garage by holding down the compressor (no, it's not running):

Wow! Very nice lovely dogs! Just my advice I noticed that many dogs have a choker... Please don't use that kind of collar. It can kill your dog by strangulation. For training, use instead the clicker method. Watch Kikopup on youtube and you will learn a lot on how using it.

Here is Chew Bug. She is a very sweet dog and wouldn't hurt a fly but she's got the scariest bark I've ever heard from a dog. She roams free and never leaves our property. She stays on the porch mostly.

The girlfriend started a small home-based company making dog collars with bowties and such, and suddenly my shop has new management! But don't worry, despite their dapper new threads they are still willing to get down and dirty in the garage whenever they get a chance!

Oscar wanted to prove that he's still "One of the guys" though, so he ditched the bow-tie for a hip new bandana

Someone said "Boxers"? Had three, now four (two are rescues).

That is a lot of energy (and flatulence) for one household!!!

We had a boxer before, for about 14-yrs, but we had to put her down in 2009. It's been 5-yrs between dogs but this little guy got to me.
