Not in the garage, but it's rare to get a good pic of these two actually laying still.

Louie is the ********* mutt. Think hes lab / newfoundland mix. He's about 5 and a giant wimp. He runs away from loud noises. He was a rescue, and I honestly think was abused as a pup. Try to give him a hug and he's gone.

Bob is the yellow lab / chow mix, but mostly looks like a lab that never grew. He's 16 but still acts like hes 6. He's slowed down a bit, cant make the jump into the truck, or the couch and bed, but never stops going. On a 9hr drive back home he will stay up with me in the passanger seat while big ole Louie is sleeping in the back.

Man, your post brings back memories of my now departed, life time best friend Dudley who I started this thread for like five years ago. Dudley is long gone now. Hopefully across Rainbow Bridge waiting for me and Sooner my blonde Lab who looks a lot like Bob just turned 12 and is really slowing down. I've been thinking he'll pass in the next 1-2 years and it's breaking my heart just knowing it's coming.
These are the photos that remind me of your boys:

Always sorry to hear a best friend has passed, or is close. Bob's still going at 16. Slowed down a bit, and gives me a scare some times. The other day he decided to chase me around the back yard, trying to bite and play, then ended up sleeping in the house for about 3 hours straight.

This thread and the stories in it are both so heart-warming and sad at the same time. Here's a pic of our Polar Bear. I've always been a cat guy, but my wife persuaded me to get a dog about 4 years ago and so this guy came to us as a rescue. He's got way to much energy, but he's fun :)

My dogs either want to be out on the deck...or in the garage. Kind of like me.

These 3 pretty much live out in the garage. We do let them in the house, but they would always rather be in the garage.

He has his own old leather chair. We have a deal, I don't sit in his and he don't sit in any of mine.

Shop Dog?

I spend so much time in my shop and my dog "kitty" is always there with me, usually sitting in the skid steer. Kitty is a Louisana Catahoula Leopard. What other member work with their dogs in the shop? And what breeds?

My little guy will scratch at the door if I don't take him with me. He loves the garage!
