Someone thinks the old couch we moved I to the garage, awaiting disposal, is his now.

Played on it while I was fixing a truck all morning. Hope he doesn't get used to it because it'll be gone soon.

I put locking casters on mine....

That way I can roll it around the garage or outside on a sunny day.

"Sybbie" helped me and my son do an oil change Sunday, she also like boat rides. "Where's the fish?"

I have a recliner that Jax decided he didn't like the cover on, so he removed part of it for me. I said, eh I will just throw a blanket over it, its a really comfy chair. Wife said it's gotta go. She dragged it out in the yard one day while I was at work, so I dragged it into the shop and put it on a furniture dolly. I may even screw it on, one of the next 5 times it falls off the dolly when I recline it! LOL. Plus my dad thinks it's HIS shop chair now.

I wish I had room to keep the couch un the garage but is only a 2 car and I "have too much cr@p as it is", accordingto the wifey.

Pupster is gonna miss that couch. We may or may not have caught a quick nap on it yesterday afternoon between a couple small projects.

I need a bigger garage...

Almost 2 months since my garage buddy left us. At 13-1/2 he had a pretty good run for a sheppard/chow mix. He had slowed down immensely over the last year, so we were prepared for this. The hardest part is forgetting he's gone after that many years of habit. I still think he's going to greet me at the door when I get home. I still think I have to fill his food or water dish. At night I step over that lump on the floor, only realizing then its a duffle bag, not the dog. He was the best (and quite a weirdo too).

Yes, Corgi pup, she is was about 10 weeks old then, about 4 months now. Full of energy, but trainable, we actually chose her for temperament and not looks, she is the dog who sat and made eye contact at the breeders rather than jumping up and squawking. However, we have since concluded that she was simply smart enough to fool us into thinking she was "the good pup" of the litter.

Sorry to hear about your loss Adam. My Ruby's been gone over a year and I feel the same way. We bring these pets into our lives, knowing that we will almost always outlive them and the loss is always brutal. But then we turn around and do it again. Truth is... the pain is easily worth the love they bring into our lives.

Great pics. He was a beautiful boy for sure. Absolutely LOVE those ears! I already liked him as soon as I saw him holding a dead whistle pig - I hate them! haha. But the socks Adam... do tell about the picture with the socks.

Again, sorry for your loss.
Be well.

Good on you for picking a rescue pup and in my opinion you're doing the EXACT right thing by holding him and letting him know he's got a home and a buddy to rely on. He'll be super loyal and live to please you.

So... How does your garage dog let you know it's dinner time?

Mine becomes unhelpful and slows my progress down until he gets fed. This is him being unhelpful while I'm working on my 'burban. Kiddo grabbed a pic while he was whining, holding my arm down, and kept putting his ice cold nose in my face. I relented and he was fed before I finished my work.

I know who the garage boss is. He has me well trained.

So a person can spend all the money they want on fancy 'chew toys', and the dog is just as happy annihilating an empty distilled water jug.

Old Coop, the only one who appreciates the daily window rattling session.

We just lost 15 year old Oscar last week.

Love it. My new rescue loves cardboard. It’s the strangest thing. Will dump a trash can to go after tp rolls.

A couple of summers ago I finished off a roll of road fabric and let Joe have the leftover cardboard roll it came on. Probably twelve foot long and 1/4" thick cardboard. He zoomed in on the tube as soon as I pulled the last bit of Typar off it, and it kept him happy for days. :D

Our little boy just passed away unexpectedly (heart). And our hearts are broken.

UGH UGH UGH, so very sorry to hear this.

I lost my little Bella almost a year ago on my birthday. During the night she walked over to my side of the bed to lay down and passed in her sleep.

Introducing Gus

IMG_0906.jpg

Hi Gus! You are a big beautiful boy. Is he a Great Dane? I've always wanted one. Always heard they're gentle giants but the idea that they live very short lives compared to other dogs kills me.

Meet "Dude", our new family addition, long hair German shepherd. First shop visit last Sunday, and already way more into it than our almost 11 year old Husky ever was! LOL

Here’s Milo, of all the spots with padding he liked the cool concrete. He’s one of those dogs that goes everywhere with me. The only time he leaves is when my wife comes home, he is her dog first, smart dog.
