Ohh, good stretch!
TERRIBLY sorry to hear of your loss. I had my own dog pass away in the night not too long ago. She apparently crawled over to my side of the bed because she could no longer jump onto it. I guess she wanted to be as close to me as she could when she felt something happening to her.Said goodbye to my garage dog, after 12 great years he fell asleep and never woke up.
My mastiff lived a very long life.

By "Bye" did you mean put down, or given to someone? Sad either way, but I know that livestock killing can't be tolerated.
They were taken to the animal rescue. Inlaws wanted them both put down but no vet round here will put down a healthy dog. They're both just under 5 years old.By "Bye" did you mean put down, or given to someone? Sad either way, but I know that livestock killing can't be tolerated.

my last Golden hated other dogs and cats to touch him. He loved leaning Against And touching any humans. The look on Taras face says it all. She wasn't too pleased about being leaned against.
I mean no offense but he looks like a character out of Monsters Inc in this photo.Lucifer- viscious little bastage

Thanks, natural causes she was riddled with tumors, we had no idea, she was 12 but a month ago she was looking perfectly healthy, then within the space of a week she went downhill.Sorry to hear about kitty. What happened to her? Natural causes, age? Or a car/other?
Ugh, tragic.
I had a similar situation a few years ago when one of our two adopted black miniature poodles went blind literally overnight. Turned out she had a brain tumor and we hadn't realized there was any issue. Vet said it was probably there and causing her pain for months but she hid it well. She wanted a little more cuddling in the weeks leading up - probably thought we could relieve her pain. I still feel guilty for not noticing something was wrong earlier.
Sorry to hear that, yeah the guilt ***** but really what can we have done, no one was to know.
It took us 5 visits to the vet before they did an ultrasound and found the tumors.
And she hid it so well, much like yours I guess. Just happy I got to spend some time with her before the end.
Could not convince her to hold still for the picture?A new addition to the family she is beautiful
