Holly's first trip away in the motorhome. She was not very impressed.
She slept a lot of the way but every so often would wake up and just stare straight at me in the rear view mirror as if to say 'FFS are we still not there'.

The two were a lot happier once we got to my mums house.

They DO understand.
I hope you’re right. I feel certain they understand tone of voice.

She’s literally a “hugger”. Wants to stand up against me when I get home, paws over my shoulders and “kiss” my face. Bugs my girlfriend but I don’t mind. The disturbing thing (at first) was that she wants to nibble my nose! Not “bite” but momentarily hold it. I’ve never had a dog that do that but then I’ve never had a young female dog before. I know it’s not a good thing to allow these “hugs” but I admit I like it.

This is my white Siberian husky Charlie. She is my second husky love the breed though she is the ollar opposite of my first husky. She is very affectionate oriented and wants to be where you are as you can see She is watching me work out. Can't even go to the bathroom without having a shadow.....

She is a little over 2 now but still acts like a puppy haha

I hear Huskies are real "talkers". They will give grunts and howls - large and small to respond to their owners. I worked with a guy that had several of them all the time and he almost held "conversations" with his.

We had a border collie/husky mix who didn't "talk" often, but every once in a while when I got home she'd make noise that sounded like she was speaking a whole paragraph. It almost seemed like she was trying to describe her day. "Rara raro woo wahroo" type noises at a normal speech volume.

Gratuitous pictures of my new doggy girlfriend, Fifi. Just had her groomed yesterday so she looks very white and fluffy. Now I’m feeling like I should have had her cut shorter since it’s SO damned hot lately.

She was adopted in March, is 18 months now and is super affectionate. She’s a great off leash trail dog - runs ahead - never out of sight - but comes back to check in. Comes running full out when called. LOVES affection and being spoken to. Wags the entire time I’m telling her how pretty she is and what a good dog she is. I swear she understands!F560D9F7-D0EA-4CF8-84F5-94C22640DB56.jpeg

Years ago I had a little poodle whose mood and manner changed as her hair grew out. Before she'd get a grooming, she was an absolute slob.... flop down anywhere, slouch around, etc. Get her groomed and she became a little princess show off. Posing to get compliments, sitting bolt upright, always looked like she was ready to have her picture taken. What a screwball!

I am continually surprised at the unique personalities of dogs, even if they are the same breed and share general behaviors, each dog is truly an individual.

Here's my dog pic today. New vet wanted a *****, and a mutual heartworm. He's getting old so I asked for the bloodwork. New vet seems cool, she has a nice setup.

She physically tested hips and said he's getting bad but not so bad for his breed and age, though it is a problem. Cloudy eyes are normal and good for his age and probably not affecting much...no cataracts. She liked my Glucosamine and chondroitin, Omega 3-6-9 and Turmeric regiment. Cooper-Dog had a great time, he doesn't care were he goes, for him even the vet is a treat with all the prodding and poking and such...It's all game. Funny, I almost named him Trooper, he is a trooper...Cooper the "trooper.".

Your two really look similar to my recent adoptees.

I'm a total slob when it comes to my dogs. They ask for nearly nothing and give so much in return. All they want is to be spoken to, scratch their bellies occasionally, fresh water and food. Best animals out there, though I love all animals (well, snakes and scorpions no so much! lol)

Had to put my best bud down earlier this year, she came to the shop/work with me everyday, that once in a lifetime dog. She and I had a good last 13 of her 15 years.

Very sad to hear about your sweet pooch. They’re all such good souls.

Now, WTF is up with doing that to a 911?!!

What kind of shape was the Porsche in before you did THAT to it? Absolutely KILLS me to see a Porsche 911 as a rat rod of all things.

That's a lovely sbox. Sure catches the eye more than a stock sbox.
