One big rack..it's called a drawer
Some of these racks are very pretty. Do any of you guys use your tools? My tool rack is a drawer full of pliers that does not mind me swearing at it when I am looking for what I need.
RACK??? Hell, mine are stacked at least two deep in the drawer....how you guys can keep everything all "neat & pretty" is amazing to me....I'll never have enough room in a tool box!
Oh....and how your tools never show any wear.....![]()

Just realize that a lot of those on GJ buying tools are just collectors & tool polishers. Their tools will stay nice and shiny in a drawer and not see the first day of use.
Those same ones will also be asking about how to prevent those unused tools from rusting....![]()

either you made no point, or I just missed it. Are you meaning to imply that what one group does with thier tools is better than what another does? If so, which is the 'right' group?

Ignore them mate, why would they be reading threads about tool organisation if they weren,t looking to better themselves.
Some folk are just programmed to be negative![]()

My pliers are organized by the MRU method.
Most Recently Used are on top.

The other thirty or forty pliers I own are scattered between a travel box, a small rollaway at my other house, and a dozen or so vise grips clamped to my MIG welder cart.
I am pretty fanatical about organization and presentation, as you can see from my screwdriver, ratchet and wrench drawers, and my meticulously arranged socket storage area:

exactly what I've been wanting to make.
Any special technique on bending? Or just pliers + muscle?
Saw an Ikea dish rack at the thrift store the other day.
Cut it into sections and...
Northern Tool Pliers Rack. The dish racks just didn't work as well for me as this purpose-built rack.
