Damm... Moose, you sure are taking home some nice scores on SO tools!

I'm buying them like they're going out of style! Oh wait, they are.. :eyecrazy:

I want to get them before they all disappear. it's lots of money in one go, but they'll last me a lifetime.

I just scored a new 1/4 drive techwrench a couple weeks ago. It was the one I needed to complete the entire set - 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 and the 3/4 drive 4ft monster.

Sweet! I'd love some of those Snap-on electronic torque wrenches, they're awesome. I used a friend's TechAngle and TechWrench recently. I love my Norbars, but i may be converted.

The 3/4" must be a beast! I thought my 36" ratchet was big, but a 48" torque wrench? Damn..

Motoworks non-oil air filter for my YFZ450 quad. Suppose to be lifetime warranty and you just clean it with soapy water, rinse and let dry. Only thing I hate about dirt bikes & quads are cleaning and oiling the air filters so hopefully this will fix it.

1/4" drive 3/8" 12 pt snap on swivel, brand new, $16.98, now all I need is a 7/16" to finally finish the set. I've paid half price or less for all of them.

I also got two new snapon s872 1/2" ratchets for $50 each.

Here was a purchase made a while back that I am not sure what some of the stuff is for, hahaha. I was going to do a brake job and got these as a set and also a craftsman spring pliers, that I gave to my dad.

I had that one on my watch list just out of curiosity. Not old enough for my collection, but definately interesting.

Hi Moose - I just got this one off bay last week. I guess this was Proto's version. They haven't made these for many years though. Definately pre-Stanley.

Hey, I just bought that exact screwdriver set new off of the truck. Yup, I paid 123.50 sans tax.

My best deal recently was an 8 piece set of Snap On screwdrivers (new in package).
$55 shipping included, nobody else even bid on them. (Snap On website lists them at $123.25)

Other recent purchases include, Snap On long handle needle nose pliers, Proto 3/8" drive spin flex ratchet, Channel Lock micro champ needle nose pliers, and Blue Point hose clamp pliers.

I tried for a SO TH737 today but the amount of money people think they are worth on ebay is ridiculous. I wish I would of bought that one at the hawk shop for $40 now.

What are/were these used for?

The snap on is an S-9527 Chevy Torque Adaptor. From my 1953 catalog:

"This adaptor has been designed to service all the head bolts on 1950 to 1952 Chevy 105 H.P. engines. Attach a 3/4" socket and a TQ0150 Torqo-meter to the 1/2" square drive ends and you can get around all of the obstructions and accessories to reach all the bolts for proper tensioning."

Sweet! is yours 1/2" or 3/8"? The listing said mine is 3/8" but Chad's catalogue speaks of a 1/2".

I had that one on my watch list just out of curiosity. Not old enough for my collection, but definately interesting.

I saw it and straight away thought "that's mine." and now it is.

Here was a purchase made a while back that I am not sure what some of the stuff is for, hahaha. I was going to do a brake job and got these as a set and also a craftsman spring pliers, that I gave to my dad.

Don't know what it is? Want to get rid of those big "pincers"? I'll take them! (they're grease cap removers)

I tried for a SO TH737 today but the amount of money people think they are worth on ebay is ridiculous. I wish I would of bought that one at the hawk shop for $40 now.

I gave one of those away last week.

Is that keychain made in USA?

There are no markings other than Snap-on on it, it came loose when i bought it.

I'm embarrassed to post this because it's not Snap-on brand. It is a tool that I won on ebay though. Winning bid was $5.50, total $12.50 shipped.

What is it exactly?

Nevermind...

STANLEY® Rotator™ Ratchet
Whether removing a bolt from an engine or installing a sink fixture, the STANLEY® Rotator™ Ratchet gives users the ability to swing the ratchet arm or spin the handle for removing or threading fasteners, nuts and bolts in tight areas. When using the alternate rotating handle feature, the ratchet arm spins in the forward or reverse direction it is set. It is ideal for many additional projects around the home where fasteners, nuts and bolts are located in hard to access places such as engine compartments, grill assembly or small engine repair.

The STANLEY® Rotator™ Ratchet is available in 3/8” and 1/4” sizes. It is available at auto parts stores or other retailers where STANLEY® products are sold with a suggested retail price of $24.99-$29.99.

I've a got a few CAT wrenches. The majority of it is just rebadged Snap-On. Some of the tools aren't even rebadged. They are just SO tools in a CAT box or package. The nice thing working in the dealership is we get the tools at cost.

I have a CAT 1/4" spinner handle. It's a Snap-on but has no markings other than the CAT logo.

Well here's some of what I've picked up via fleabay and the local marts (and here) over the past month or so.

jul12rat.jpg

Top to bottom 1/2 drive - Indestro Super, Allen, Bonney, NBM, Mac, None Better

jul38rat.jpg

Top to bottom 3/8 & 1/4 drive - Blue Point, Craftsman, Allen, Husky, Snap-On, Armstrong, no name

That brings the ratchet count to 217 so far.

tapndie.jpg

Metric Tap & Die set, USA made (Magna?), missing some taps, but for $15 I'm not gonna complain...
