Does craigslist count for this thread?
I picked up this Blue-Point cart recently off of Craigs List for cheap. Does anyone know if where I can get some gas shocks to replace the hinges for the top cover of the cart?

I also included some pics of my Orange SO tools for Moose. Who out there wants to send my the orange handle 45* angled pick and the small flathead screwdriver to replace the ones I lost in the kit?

We'll let this one slide.

Looks like a good haul, the cart looks very handy, i like the screwdriver storage in the side, that'd be perfect for those prybars which i'm sure you'll find you often reach for.

As for the mini-tip set, you should be able to find them on eBay if you keep an eye out, as individuals or incomplete sets pop up from time to time.

I only have my blue point ratchet spanners to compare it to.

They feel strong and light. The head is thinner but I think they will most likely last forever.

The chrome isn't polished but then again they're for work not to hang on the wall ;).

As far as grip goes it might be a bit less comfortable than the BP.

The stahlwille does have a tighter fit than the BP. I measured the 10mm as 10.02mm wheras the BP measured 10.15

Overall I'm very happy.

Some how I think moose might be a little jealous of that last haul, uh can you say orange?.... if you know model # of your cart (usually a white sticker on the back and inside the box if you remove the drawers) and look it up by going to the Snapon parts section of their website: http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/parts/main_xml.asp

Unfortunately their is no sticker anywhere on the cart (the Blue-Point is a black sticker, so maybe its not really a bluepoint cart?).
Also it originally came with cheap metal bars instead of shocks, so I am trying to upgrade it to use shocks.

I have a set of Snap-on orange striking cap prybars, brand new i paid something like $80 for off eBay a while back when they first came out. :)

I think the prybars and the mini pick/screwdriver/torx came as a discounted set when I bought from the truck around 6 years ago.
They were not part of the haul, but added just to throw some more orange handles into the mix.

A side question: Is rust on the prybars part of the Snap-On lifetime warrantee? they have always been stored in the drawer of a toolbox and all of them have spots of surface rust. I think my biggest problem is that I don't use them enough to keep the rust scraped off of it all. :bounce:

Holy ****, Rick! Looks like you filled in allot of holes in your tool collection! Do you like the "comfort grip" handled snapon stuff that isn't made anymore; compared to the new Instinct handles?

I like the old comfort grip handles, but the instinct handles are not bad either. I just look for what I consider to be good deals on stuff that I need.

Snap-on rigid carb adjuster. One socket from the set missing. Not worried, haven't touched a carb in a long time..

Snap-on 1/4" breaker bar with hard handle. My friend bought this, then immediately realised he didn't want it. So it became mine. This'll get a ratchet head and a compact 3/8" gear.

*drool*

I hate you.:( The things I would do for a green soft grip ratchet.

Did you see Atlascylce's green SO dead blow ball peen hammer?(Let's see your tool box thread, pg. 73). I have never seen those in any color other than red(the newer style that is). Thought you might like it since you seem to dig the green handled tools.

GREEN! I wondering now if green is actually more scarce then the current obsession color ORANGE? Moose, can you get a orange replacement handle for the breaker bar; I wonder if they are removable? I have seen the my dealer replace screwdriver handles but never ratchet handles. I would assume they come off... anyone know?

Man, you have tons of good stuff in there and the vintage Snapon box makes it even cooler (is it the kind with the roll down front cover, that locks?); can we see a pic of the overall box? Do you think if you had a bigger box you could access your tools easier and use organizers for your wrenches? I don't know if you have enough ratchets and pliers! LOL! How do you like your Wiha precision screwdrivers? I love mine! Overall, most everything is top quality stuff! Awesome!

About 80 bucks, it was worth it to me I've only ever seen one more like it. If they make a dual 80 I'll get one too, but I doubt they do, if you have a ratchet that doubles as a speeder you won't need to buy a speeder?

that'd be worth £155 to me on its own, without the rest of the box ...
Where are you getting it from Moose? We're heading south but only to Worcestor on Saturday to pick up a Range Rover for my mate.

That end box alone is the £155 purchase, the other end box and roll cab in the pic aren't mine. I'm picking it up from somewhere in Sussex. They guy had two on eBay, both had a buy it now option for £250. The other auction for an identical box went for £195.
