Browsing on Ebay in late February and came across this beauty. 40" wide, ball bearing slides. Local pick up. Retails for $500 at Sears. With a small ding in the left front and a minor scratch or two on the lid, $130. No complaints here.

I have seen several of those larger craftsman boxes sold on there reasonable buys.... i just always seem to live to damn far and shipping ends up making them retail lol

My winning bid was $1.29 for a pair of Stanley pliers.

I've been curious about the self adjusting mechanism.

Here is ours:

It's not a tool, but he is holding a sword. We collect Disney production cells and found this one.

I have a set of those, they're awesome. The 7mm is almost essential for new Laguna rear brakes too.

Speed Wrenchs

As i learned the other day, they don't work for initial loosening/final tightening. I still have the giant bump on my forhead to prove it. They do work though, very well.

Got a set of those too, they're freakin' awesome!

Wow, Very nice collection, Nik.

Thanks. I had emailed the guy since he had like 5 of the pebble Plombs listed and asked if he wanted to make a deal on all of them. He emailed me this photo and said these are all of his Plomb pebble items and named his price. One click of the buy it now button and I'm a happy camper.

Sounds like you both made out well. I really dig that long handle ratchet. Haven't seen it before.

I don't know what the socket with the screw is, I was kinda hopin' someone from here would know. Actually, I kind of figured the seller was a member here and would be able to tell us. If the seller isn't a member, he sure ought to be!

I have NO reasonable explanation for buying this Proto 1" drive set, even when I played with old tractors I didn't have anything this big, but I couldn't pass it up.

SK/Britool 13piece Metric Deep Socket Set. The 3/8" drive 6 point sockets are 7mm to 19mm. SK manufactured these sockets for Britool which is owned by Facom. I have a set of shorties that I really like so thought I would try these deeps.
