I have that same 185 piece Husky tool set. Got it for 70 as well, they actually raised the price to 100 now I think. It has become the basis for my collection. It is a great set for the money I think. 72 tooth ratchets are nice as well. What are your thoughts on it?

O.k. i didn't like the dark corners in the drawers at night to be able to read the socket / wrench sizes,.....

Problem solved:

under cabinet LED light strips, they work perfect, i can even read the socket sizes in the bottom drawer......

Thanks, two pieces are still missing (tomorrow it'll be finished (probably....hahahaaa)), i bought the retractable cord reel from Ace Hardware (metal version) and (i guess you like this one), an old .50cal ammo box for my oily rags, the box and the reel get attached to the side wall....but first i have to put new brake pads on my wife's car, re-charge the AC ...., clean the gutters, replace a light switch in the bathroom....HONEY_DO_LIST....)

Those are Polyurethane heavy duty casters, we use them at work too, i think they are rated about 2000lbs each.

I like it so far, I've only had this setup for about 5 months now, but the socket set seems to be of good quality. Very comparable to my craftsman and gearwrench ratchets that I have in my garage. The 5 degree swing is nice! The ratchets also fit in my hands pretty well. The gearwrench and husky ratchets are nearly identical, too. Paired with all the other husky tools I have added, it has come in handy many times. I also purchased the extra extensions/adapters/and swivels. I'll probably add a few more things as time goes on to make the box a little more useful. But overall I'm happy, you can't beat the quality for the money!

Looks like it did go up in price. I think it's still worth $100 :)

I think its a Mac tool, but I can't remember for sure. I've had them for 10+ years and they've taken a beating.
I also have the air hammer attachment for it. The 2 pieces bottom out on each other so the treads take no stress. I'd definitely recommend them!

After 4+ months of waiting, the 68" Epiq finally showed up. Snappy guy delivered it to my house in a horse trailer of all things. No ramp on the trailer so we had to get creative with some 2x4's and a rope. Holy **** that thing is heavy! Good times!

Here's a. Pic of it next to the one it's replacing (krl722). It seems a tad bigger :dunno: really diggin the extra deep drawers.

The stainless power top is supposed to be in this week or next as well as a cart I had put in as part of the deal. I'll post a few drawer pics once I get everything swapped over from the 722 and organized.

You will definitely enjoy the extra depth. It was the biggest selling point to me when I went to a KRL.

That is really nice, makes the 722 look tiny.
thanks! Yeah that struck me funny when I rolled them side by side and stepped back. The 722 comes up to my waist but the epiq is half ways up my chest it seems.

realizing the advantages already. Can finally put my ratchets front to back so they don't roll about every time I close the drawer.
Wow. Very nice. How much did that run you?
thanks! How much? Well, lets put it this way....it cost more than i intended to pay (was originally going with a bigger KrL) but less than most people pay for that box ;) the deal maker was that he gave me $2000 more for the KRL than I had paid for it and then discounted the box, top and cart on top of it. I was happy with the deal.

Hell yeah, i bet you thought that 722 was a big box when you got it.:D I dont know whats going on with snap on as of late. I ordered a new krl1033 to replace my 1022. my dealer called me about the deal they had going on, and i, like you couldnt pass it up he double what i paid for the 1022, So i had to get it. wont be here untill 2nd week of june, from the email i recieved from snap on.

I tryed my hardest to get a free top, but they wouldnt budge. I would have bought a epiq but im not a fan of the drawer latches. Great box they are massive..:rocker:

Oh and you should post a pic of you standing beside it, so people get the full effect on its actual size

Lol yep...thought I'd never fill the 722. Quickly proved myself wrong there! Yes, snap on seems a bit motivated to sell boxes these days. He was giving me a great deal on the krl1032 as it was but when he offered the epiq for the same price and lowered it again when I added the cart, I couldn't say no. I was worried about the latches too as he had an almost empty one on the truck but once you load the drawers down they latch much more smoothly. I figure over time it'll get even smoother. As for the pic of me next to the box, I'm not much for posting my ugly ol mug on the interwebs but I'll see what I can do lol.

those wrench racks in the 3rd pic... are those the HF metal ones? i need something like that where they stand straight up (90deg to drawer) so i can better use my deeper drawers

Inside the top I have a 26" 3 drawer chest with pliers, hammers, metric, and hex keys and other misc stuff along with hardware, oil, and common parts depending on the season. Bottom box has chains, Clevises, funnels, straps, and a jumper box. I am building a new headache rack which will have an organizer on the driver side for grease gun, and different airesol cans of cleaners. And another box to hold a ports-torch set up!
